I don't have any new TV or movie favorites this month. I'm still watching the same shows I already talked about.
I have some new hair products I've been loving. I got inspired by PiinkSparkles blow drying routine video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4XwzVw67QI. She has long, healthy hair, so I got a couple of things she mentioned in her video, and I've been drying my hair the same way as her. I think my hair has been looking healthy.
1. Herbal Essences Rose Shampoo and Conditioner: I used to use this back when I was in high school! I loved it then, and I still love it. It makes my hair have lots of volume, and the smell is of roses.
2. Label M Protein Spray: I never knew that you lose protein in your hair when you brush it, get it wet, or use heat on it. It is good to spray the protein back into the hair. I found this from a store online. I learned about it from PiinkSparkles video. After you towel dry your hair, you spray this in and after you blow dry, you spray it in.
3. Organix Coconut Milk Split Ends Mender: Before you blow dry your hair you put this on the ends of your hair. It has coconut milk, whipped egg white proteins, and coconut oils to help nourish the hair and give strength.
4. Elf High Definition Powder in Corrective Yellow: I heard this was a dupe for the banana powder the Kim Kardashian uses under her eyes. I don't think it is a dupe, but it is a finely milled powder that works great. I was putting it under my eyes, but I found it worked good all over the face. It is in yellow to correct redness on the face. If you put to much powder on you can spray your face with the Elf Setting Spray, and that will get rid of any extra powder.
5. Elf Powder Brush: I like to use this brush with the powder. It is only $3. Elf isn't very expensive.
6. Tweezerman Eye Lash Curler: I always use this, but I've never put it in a favorite. You can get this at the drugstore. It works the best on my eyes and lashes. It fits nicely, and does the curl. It is also inexpensive.
7. Stila In the Garden Palette: I've been playing with this palette a lot this month. It has some really pretty shades in it. I like these Stila palettes. I plan on doing more blog posts with them.
8. L'Oreal Colour Riche Gold Dust Textured Nail Polish in Too Dimensional: My friend said this looked to her like A Starry Night by Van Gogh. It has that same blue that is in the painting and large flecks of gold glitter. I saw this on someone's blog and I went out to go get it. It's in the limited edition collection.
9. Essie Nail Lacquer in Hors d'Oeuvres: This is a beautiful glittery nail with flecks of silver and gold. I don't have any other nail polish like it. I saw someone with this nail polish and I thought it looked really pretty. This is from a limited edition collection too.
10. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Pout: I have mentioned this in the yearly favorites, but never in a monthly post. This is a matte light pink color. I heard it is a dupe for MAC's Angel.
11. Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Black: This goes on the waterline, and is a pencil you can sharpen. I like that better than the twist up kind. You can smudge it out, too.
12. Benefit Watt's Up: This is a pretty, golden, champagne cream highlighter. It's a sample size. It looks like a natural highlight for the face.

Hitting Pan and Empties
Finally, I have gathered 10 products that I have either finished or hit pan on. When you hit pan on a product that means you have come to the bottom of the product so you can see the bottom of the "pan." I saw someone's video when she included the products where she "hit pan" because she wanted to be able to show the product still before it was all gone. I thought that was a good idea, so I fished out all my products I have hit pan on and included them in my collection.
1. St. Ives Ultra Gentle Apricot Scrub
This smells good, and it exfoliates the skin. I didn't repurchase this because I felt like I could find something that would do a better job. I was looking for something with more fine beads in it.
2. Organix Repairing Awapuhi Ginger Shampoo
I like this shampoo. It is supposed to strengthen hair, and I think it does make my hair look nice. I'm not sure if it is stronger. I'm still using the conditioner that goes with this. It smells really good. I like the Organix products. I would repurchase this, but I have other shampoos that I need to finish using. When it is time for me to buy a new shampoo, I probably will buy one I haven't tried because I like to try out different shampoos.
3. Epielle Green Tea Cleansing Tissues
I get these from Big Lots for only $1. It comes with 30 tissues. My mom and I love these. I keep these at my makeup table, and I use them to clean up under my eyes, wipe off my hands, or take off my make up. I normally wash my face to take my makeup off, but sometimes when I want to be quick, I use these wipes. I love them! I repurchase them. This time I went to the store, the green tea wasn't there, I'm trying the cucumber wipes. They work good, but they have a cucumber smell which is ok to me. Some people may not like it. There is also a regular kind, and an aloe vera kind I think.
4. Wet 'n Wild Vanity Palette
I have just hit pan on the first color in this palette. I use this palette the most of all my eyeshadow products! It isn't available in the stores anymore, but you might be able to buy it online. The color I hit pan on is very dupable. It is my skin color. I think Wet 'n Wild Brûlée is a good dupe for it. It is a matte cream color. I use it to dupe many colors. I mention it a lot in my blog.
5. Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadows in Not Just Nudes
I hit pan on the first three colors. The first is a dupe for MAC's Painterly Paint Pot. The second is a dupe for MAC's Rubenesque. The third is a dupe for MAC's Indian Wood. You can still find this quad in the stores. The first color is a cream matte. The second is a beautiful color. I'm not sure how to describe it. The third is a matte warm medium brown. Some people don't like these cream shadows because they cause creasing. I haven't had a problem with them. I put an eye primer on first, like Too Faced Shadow Insurance. They are an inexpensive drugstore option compared to Mac's Paint Pots. These came out before Maybelline's Tattoos. I like the Tattoo's better because they wear longer. But the Revlon cream shadows are so beautiful. You can get them in a wide variety of colors and they come in quads. They are about $6.
6. L'Oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base
I liked this. It was expensive for a drugstore product. You don't get a lot in a jar. It was good at smoothing out my skin and getting it ready for foundation. I would get this again. It's also moisturizing. After I use up the primers I have, I might repurchase this. Edit: I actually, couldn't wait. I didn't like the primers I had and couldn't wait, so I repurchased this already! This is good on wrinkles. I don't have many wrinkles, but it is good for the ones I have.
7. Sonia Kashuk How To Organically Look Natural Cosmetic Palette
I don't know if this is available anymore. I got this a while ago. I have hit pan on the eye 2 color. It's a camel brown color. I've hit pan on the blush. I've also hit pan on lip 2 and 3 colors. These look natural on me. My lips but better colors. It's a really nice palette. I used this a lot before I got really into makeup. I would just use this palette every single day.
8. Elf Blush in Peachy Keen
I think I dropped this and it broke. So I have half of it left. I love this color. It's like the name says a peach. I bought a new one already. It's inexpensive. I think it's a good blush to have in your collection.
9. Bare Minerals Mineral Veil
You get a lot of product. And it takes a while to use up! I would say several years! But I finally used it up. It looks very natural on the skin. I like this. I would repurchase this again, but it is expensive. First, I have drugstore powders I want to try. I would rather use a drugstore powder because it is more convenient to buy and inexpensive.
10. Covergirl Clump Crusher by Lashblast Water Resistant in Very Black
This was a very good mascara. I used this for three months, so now I'm throwing it away because they say that is how long a mascara lasts. I would repurchase this. I want to get something new though because I love trying new mascaras. This is true to it's name. It never clumped my lashes. I was pleased with it.
11. Maybelline Lash Discovery Mini-Brush Waterproof in Very Black
I always use this for my bottom lashes. I repurchased this. This is one of my all-time favorite things!

February Favorites
1. The Great Gatsby by F.Scott Fitzgerald: This is one of my all-time favorite books! I remember reading this back in high school, but I think I like it better now. I'm glad I reread it. I'm excited for the new movie to come out with Leonardo Dicaprio. This story has a great message to it. "All that glitters is not gold." Just because someone seems to have a perfect life, doesn't mean they are happy. You can have everything, but still not be satisfied.
2. Tired of Trying to Measure Up by Jeff VanVonderen: This is a self-help book I just finished reading. I had something upsetting happen to me at work, and I was really disturbed by how I feel on my job. I feel like I'm always trying to make everyone happy. I also feel ashamed of myself. So my mom recommended this book to me. It helped me to realize I don't need to try so hard to please people. I am good, just being myself. Of course, I'm not perfect. But growing is a gradual process that doesn't need to be choked out of you.
3. Elf Professional Smudge Eye Sponge: When I want to smudge an eyeliner this works really well. And it was inexpensive.
4. Revlon Nail Enamel in 430 Whimsical: This is a blue with glitter nail polish. It is supposedly a dupe for Deborah Lippman's Glitter in the Air. My picture isn't very good. You should google the polish to see better pictures. I wore this over Sinful Nails Cinderella because I wanted a blue base.
5. Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips in 410 Love Letter: My ring finger has it on. It says, "love" in cursive. It's hard to see. I saw someone do this when I did Google Images, and I thought this would be nice for Valentine's Day. The red nail polish is Essie's Lollipop.
6. Revlon Nail Enamel in 780 Ritzy: This is a black with huge chunks of glitter. I have never worn black on my nails before, but I thought this looked really pretty. And it went well with the Sally Hansen Love Letter (which lasted a long time on my nails.)
7. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser: At the beginning of the month I noticed my forehead was being ultra sensitive to everything I was putting on it. I was getting what looked like a rash! I decided to change everything I was using, so it would be more gentle on my forehead. I used this to wash my forehead, instead of the Benzoyl Peroxide cleanser I normally use. This is really good.
8. Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Normal/Dry Skin in Ivory: I have used this before and I couldn't stand the smell. I must have had a bad bottle because this has no scent. I got the one for oily skin too because I thought my skin was oily. I must have normal skin on my face and dry skin on my forehead. (At least in the winter time.) This foundation went on better than the oily skin one did. It also didn't irritate my forehead.
9. Olay Age Defying Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream: I am in my 30's and I feel like I should be wearing an eye cream to ward off wrinkles. I'm still not in the habit of putting this on at night. It feels really good. It doesn't sting. It's a nice moisturizing feeling.
10. Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner: I found a kit at Target that came with the shampoo and conditioner, and a leave in oil. I have wanted to try this for awhile, so I decided to get it. It is is very moisturizing for the hair. I skip the oil because it leaves my hair too oily. I think it works well. I like the Organix products.
11. Covergirl Cheekers Blush in Rose Silk: This is a luminous rose pink color. On my skin tone it looks like a natural flush. I have warm coloring. My mom has cool coloring and it looks good on her too! I have worn this blush since I started wearing makeup. I think I started wearing makeup in junior high or high school. I didn't wear a lot. But I always wore this blush I remember.
12. Maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise in Black: I wanted to get the Jordana Liquid Liner again, but it was all sold out at my local store. I've been hearing about the Maybelline one, so I was curious to try it. I like it. I recommend the Jordana one though because it is just as good and it is cheaper.
13. Bodycology Shower Gel in After Dark: I really like the way this smells and lathers. My mom didn't like the smell though, so I guess not everyone will like the way this smells. It has amber crystals and vanilla scent.
14. Queen Helene Oatmeal 'n Honey Natural Facial Scrub: After my apricot scrub ran out, I wanted to get a scrub that was for sensitive skin. I looked up reviews, and this scrub had good reviews. It has little beads in it. I use this once a week to get the dead skin off.
15. Up & Up Women's Shaving Gel in Strawberry Tangerine: I heard this was just as good as the Skintimate brand. It is cheaper, and is the Target brand. I love this! This smells so good! It makes me want to have a fruit smoothie.
I hope you liked seeing my favorites. What are your favorites this month?

November Favorites
I am so happy with the weather today. It has been nice and sunny, so I can take pictures! It is supposed to be really rainy these next few days, so I was surprised it was so nice.
1. Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie: This is the book I've been reading this month. It is really good! It has a cute story and very well written. It has been an entertaining, light hearted book this month.
2. Bath and Body Works Scentportables in Frosted Cupcake and Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin: I recently discovered these. You can put them in your car. They smell so delicious. I love them. Right now my car is filled with cupcake smell! You can get them in all kinds of scents and they come in different kinds of containers. You can get them in plain colors or cute things, like penguins.
3. Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat: This is nice to put on your nail polish to make it last longer.
4. Nailtini in Millionaire: I love this nail polish! The picture doesn't really show how sparkly and cool it is. It has rose gold glitter and green bars, so it reminds me of the colors of a Christmas tree.
5. Suave Kids Detangling Spray in Double Dutch Apple: My hair is pretty tangled when I get out of the shower so I wanted to try something to detangle my hair. This works really well and it smells like apples.
6. Wet 'n Wild Fergie Nail Polish in Flossy Flossy: This is a nice glittery polish. I wore on my ring fingers with a peach color underneath. I like when people do accent nails. It just makes things look a little different and special.
7. Philosophy Caramel Apple Shower Gel, Shampoo, and Bubble Bath: I'm back to using Philosophy again. The other soap was good because it was anti-bacterial but I didn't like the smell of it. This stuff smells delicious! The only thing I don't like is it is red. Sort of weird color to have as a soap in my opinion. It doesn't stain you red or anything. It just comes out red on your skin at first.
8. Maybelline Eye Studio in Cozy Cashmere: I wore these eyeshadows a lot this month. They are really pretty for fall. My favorite one is the 2nd one. It is a dark chocolate color with gold glitter.
9. Jordana In Color FabuLiner Liquid Eye Liner in Black: I used this several times this month. It is inexpensive and is like a pen.
10. Organix Repairing Awapuhi Ginger Shampoo and Conditioner: This is what it says on the bottle, "Indulge in a lavish, moisturizing creamy shampoo/conditioner infused with the Hawaiian beauty secret of rich awapuhi ginger extract to instantly mend and soften dry, coarse hair while stimulating the scalp with freshness, rich keratin proteins fortify each strand creating restored, soft, strengthened hair from the inside out." I think it does all that it claims to do. I also like the smell.
