Spring Makeup Looks
These are my 10 favorite makeup looks I have found for this Spring. I try out the different Spring looks from Youtube and figure out which ones are my favorite. I use my own makeup because I don't have everything the Youtubers use. When I find a dupe from the drugstore I will include that. I also will list the color, if you want to try to find a similar color that you have in your makeup collection. I'm just going to list the eye makeup, blush, highlight, and lip makeup because the face makeup I feel is personal preference.
1. 'Step Into Spring' Makeup Tutorial by Becca Rose
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyLtcJdKsd8
a. Rodial Illuminating Highlight Powder (champagne candlelit glow), top of cheekbones, nose: Drugstore version - Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer in Tiki, Physicians Formula Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls in Translucent Pearl. I used Bare Minerals Flawless Radiance.
b. Tartelette Palette, Super Mom (light beige with subtle warm undertones and a matte finish), lid, tear duct: Drugstore version - Wet 'n Wild Brûlée. I used Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette in Coconut Creme
c. Natural Beauty (subdued, pinky taupe with a matte finish and subtle warm undertones), outer half of lid, lower lash line: Lorac Pro Palette in Mauve
d. Power Player (warm, taupe brown with semi-matte finish), outer 1/3 of lid, outer v, crease, outer lower lash line: The Balm Balmsai Palette in Dig It
e. Blend it out.
f. Black Liquid Liner, upper lash line, wing
g. L'Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Lip Color in Dancing Rose: Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie
My Thoughts: The eyes are neutral look, and there is a black wing. There is no blush. The lips are glossy and berry. I think it is pretty, and an everyday wearable makeup look.
2. Subtle Spring Pastels Makeup Tutorial by SMLx0
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YD8rbIjl4zw
a. Jaclyn Hill Morphe Palette, medium brown, 2nd row, 2nd color, crease: Wet 'n Wild Nude Awakenings, 3rd color
b. Bottom row, 3rd color, metallic purple, outer 2/3 of lid: Maybelline Eye Studio Color Explosion Amethyst Ablazed, left color
c. Top row, 3rd color, shimmery nude, inner 1/3 of lid: Lorac Pro Palette in Nude
d. Top row, 2nd from right, orangey brown shade, outer portion of crease: Wet 'n Wild Trio in Flora, orange color
e. Lorac Pro Palette in Cream, under brow
f. Same metallic purple, lower lash line
g. Brown Eye Liner, waterline
h. Black liquid liner, upper lash line
i. Tarte Blush in Amused: Rimmel Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in Tickle Me Pink
j. The Balm Betty Lou Manizer, cheeks: Hard Candy Blush Crush in Bombshell
k. Jordana Lip Liner in Tawny
l. Gerard Cosmetics Lipstick in Kimchi Doll, baby doll pink and peach nude: Wet 'n Wild Megalast Lipcolor in Just Peachy
m. NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brûlée
My Thoughts: The eyes are purple with some orange in the crease. The lips are a really pretty combo, and it is inexpensive from the drugstore!
3. Spring Hair and Makeup Look by MsRosieBea
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGILc9UTSXQ
a. Benefit Lollitint: NYX Cream Blush in Tulip
b. The Balm Bahama Mama, lid, lower lash line: Benefit Hoola Bronzer
c. Stila In the Light Palette, Sandstone, upper lash line
d. NYX Lip Liner in Natural: Jordana Lip Liner in Tawny
e. Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm 235 Mischievous, orangey peach: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Rendezvous
My Thoughts: This look is very easy to do. It doesn't have a lot of steps. MsRosieBea is once of a very few number of redheads on Youtube.
4. Easter Makeup + 2 Outfit Ideas! by Kalyn Nicholson
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRPQBIr5uzk
a. Covergirl Quad in Notice Me Nudes, taupe matte color, crease: The Balm Balmsai Palette in Dig It
b. Pearly champagne color, wet brush, inner 1/4 of lid: Covergirl Eye Enhancers in Champagne
c. Metallic taupe color, center of lid, outer half of lower lash line: Covergirl Eye Enhancers in Tapestry Taupe
d. Champagne color, under brow
e. Annabelle Lip Liner in Nude: Jordana Lip Liner in Tawny
f. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Coral Berry
g. Annabelle Blush in Coral: Sonia Kashuk Beautifying Blush in Sunset
My Thoughts: I think if you follow what makeup she used, it would be more inexpensive than what I used. I already had these things, so I don't need to go out and buy anything new. I have never seen Annabelle makeup where I live (Oregon). It may be only in Canada. I put the champagne color on the inner half of my lid. I wasn't sure if wetting the brush would work on a Covergirl eye shadow, but it does. It makes the shadow more pigmented. Then I put the metallic taupe color on the outer half. It doesn't make sense to me to put the champagne on the inner 1/3 and then the taupe on the middle 1/3 with nothing on the outer lid. Maybe she put the matte taupe color on the outer 1/3 of the lid. I like coral colors on me, and it is a pretty springtime color.
5. Spring 2015 // Makeup, Hair & Outfit Ideas for Spring by Tara Michelle
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wb2GejDmroU
a. Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette, Foxy, lid: Wet 'n Wild Comfort Zone Palette, 1st color
b. Venus, inner corner: Wet 'n Wild Walking on Eggshells, highlight color
c. Faint, crease, outer v: Revlon Colorstay Palette in Attitude, bottom left corner
d. Crave, outer v, lower lash line: Wet 'n Wild Greed, 3rd color
e. Black Liquid Liner, upper lash line, wing
f. Black Eye Liner, outer half of waterline
g. Milani Lip Liner in 03 Nude, line and fill it in, blend with finger: Jordana Lip Liner in Tawny
h. MAC Blush in Trace Gold: Milani Blush in Warm Petals
My Thoughts: The eyes, cheeks, and lips are all very neutral. The thing that makes this look trendy is the winged liner.

a. BB Cream
b. Eyebrows
c. Concealer, under eyes and chin

Spring Makeup Looks
I think Spring is my favorite season. I love to see the flowers blooming, and the weather is a little bit warmer. I have some spring looks picked out to wear, and I wanted to share them with you. I found them on Youtube, and I copied them using my own makeup. These are the looks that I tried that I liked. I hope you like them too!

1. Spring Makeup, Hair + Outfit Inspiration! by missglamorazzi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xjp_QIC9bGs
a. Face Primer
b. Concealer
c. Urban Decay Setting Spray
d. Powder Foundation
e. Eyebrows
f. MAC Rubenesque Paint Pot: 3rd shade in Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadows in Va Va Va Bloom
g. Black Eye Liner, upper lash line, tight line
h. Turquoise Eye Liner, above black liner: Wet 'n Wild Turquoise Eye Liner
i. Mascara
j. Benefit Rockateur Blush: Milani Baked Blush in Rose D'Oro
k. Bronzer
l. Jouer Olivia Lipstick: Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Peach
m. Jouer Sunset Lip Gloss: Revlon Colorburst Lip Gloss in Peony
My Thoughts: This has Rubenesque on the eyes, which is a really pretty paint pot. It is like a sunset color on the eyes. Then she put a turquoise eye liner on which doesn't look crazy, just a nice pop of color. The cheeks look naturally flushed, and the lips are pretty with pink and peach.
2. Whole Face Tutorial: Natural Spring Look (Talk Through) by iamgrape119 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqJDtlWhBnQ

x. MAC Dazzleglass in Baby Sparks: Elf Hypershine Gloss in Fairy
y. Urban Decay Setting Spray in Chill
My Thoughts: It doesn't look like pastels to me. The eyes look neutral, the cheeks are berry, and the lips are a glossy nude. You have to really moisturize the lips for the Natural Nymph to look good. It is very pale, so it looks good with a gloss.
4. Simple and Bright Spring Makeup by Julie G https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmPk2kLp12Y

5. Frugal Fridays Spring Makeup w. Almay Softies Eyeshadow by macshadowcombos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsfLLPO9_3w

h. Eyebrows
i. Mascara
j. Wet 'n Wild Blush in Pearlescent Pink
k. L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Iced Latte, top of cheekbones, nose outer edges of eyebrows on top
l. Milani Lipstick in Pink Frost: Wet 'n Wild Megashield Lip Color SPF 15 in Pink Champagne 373S
My Thoughts: I really like how the pink looks on top of Pomegranate Punk. It turns into a pretty lavender color. The lavender looks good with the peach in the crease. I think these shadows make my hazel eyes look green. I like it when that happens. The Pearlescent Pink blush looks pretty next to the purple eyes. This is the look I think about when I think about Spring makeup looks. I also like macshadowcombos because she is a redhead and has the same coloring as me, so if she looks good in the makeup, then chances are I will look good too. That's the best when you find a good makeup artist on youtube that has the same coloring as you. Frugal Fridays are great, so you can find cheaper makeup that is good quality. If you don't have my makeup, you can get what she used.

b. Take a sponge tip applicator and blend it all in.

q. NYX Rose Lip Liner: Prestige Lip Liner in Baby
r. Inglot Lipstick in 173: Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake

t. NYX Barely There Eye Shadow, middle of lips: Wet 'n Wild Walking on Eggshells, 1st color
u. Same Palette, Silk Teddy, inner corners: Stila's Kitten
My Thoughts: This is very shimmery. The colors look good with hazel eyes. The eyes are very dramatic. This may be more of a nighttime look. It looks like makeup for a golden fairy!
7. Fresh Spring Makeup Tutorial by From Head To Toe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iY1g3WHyA4g
a. Foundation
b. Concealer
c. Eye Primer
d. Urban Decay Naked, outer half of crease: 2nd shade in Wet 'n Wild Vanity

k. Benefit Lip Gloss in Poutrageous: Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti
l. Urban Decay Virgin, cupid's bow
My Thoughts: The blush color goes really nicely with the pastel green under the eye. It is a beautiful coral blush. The lips are coral too. This look reminds me of the summer. I can't wait for summer. This does look fresh, and the green under the eye gives a cool pop of color. This is a nice look for redheads.
8. Spring Makeup Tutorial: Radiant Orchid by leighannsays https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBB4SYgPmXk

My Thoughts: According to Pantone, orchid is the color of the year. The eyes and cheeks are orchid, but not the lips. The lips are my lips but better. It is easier to do the wing with eye shadow.
9. Spring Makeup Tutorial: Pink & Purple Pastels by SMLx0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjydH-fJAgg
a. Jordana Continuous Almond, lid and crease
b. Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette, Rewind, crease: L'Oreal Cupa Joe, 3rd color

It's a pretty orange-apricot color. It's a good color for the spring/summer. Within These Adobe Walls is an inexpensive spring/summer lipstick. It looks really pretty on warm skin tones and redheads.
I hope you like these spring makeup looks!

My Thoughts: The lilac shade from Wet 'n Wild Going in the Wild is so pretty on top of the Wild Orchids base! I love it. I wasn't sure about the blue in the waterline, but it looks pretty next to the purple. This is a blue toned makeup look. It would look better on someone with cool coloring, I think. Even though I look better in warm tones, I think this looks pretty on me. I don't know why it works! Maybe I'm just in love with the Springtime colors.

o. MAC Cream Cup Lipstick: Maybelline Color Sensational Born With It
p. NYX Butter Gloss in Vanilla Cream Pie: NYX Lip Gloss in Beige
My Thoughts: I like this look. The purple eye shadow isn't as vibrant as I wanted it to be. I tried doing a wing, but it ended up looking weird and uneven on me, so I removed it. I think I'm one of those people that look better without the wing. Later that day I was trying on clothes in a store, and I could see the purple eye shadow under my eyes! It looked really pretty, so I guess it is vibrant enough to be able to see.

My Thoughts: I feel like I have too much blue under my eyes. I got rid of half of it with eye makeup remover and it looks much better. Sometimes with a big chubby stick you get too much product. I love the eyeshadow. It's a pretty rose gold color. The cheeks and lips are a pretty pink.

Spring Favorite Makeup Looks Part 2
Spring is one of my favorite seasons. Winter can make me feel blue. I love it when the sun starts shining, and the flowers come up. I love seeing the blossoms on the trees. This year I'm even liking the cheesy Easter eggs I see people put on their front yard trees! xD
(Source: Google Images)
Here are some more Spring time looks for Youtube I've been loving. I hope you like them too!

My Thoughts: The Milani Shadow Eyez in Royal Purple is a little too red, so it looked bad in the waterline. Get a darker purple to put in the waterline. I put Wet 'n Wild Color Icon Eye Liner in Amethyst over the waterline to make it look more purple. Overall, I like this look.

Spring Look #11: Dior
This look is by AModelRecommends http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jO67B_vYjyk I love her. She has a great sense of humor, style, and she is beautiful. A lot of times she uses very expensive products or products that can only be found in the UK, so I have to dupe her looks. I like how she does everyday sort of wearable looks.
1. Concealer
2. Powder
3. Mascara
4. Dior 5 Colour Palette in Navy, two lightest colors mixed: Maybelline Eye Studio Color Explosion in Blue Blowout, the two lightest colors
5. Bottom right eyeliner in Dior palette: Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadows in Moonlit Jewels, 4th shade
6. Black Eye Pencil: You can use black. I prefer a brownish black.
7. Daniel Sandler Creme Blusher in Hot Pink: Nyx Rouge Cream Blush in Natural
8. Estee Lauder Topaz Chameleon: Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Hermosa Rose
9. Dior Addict Extreme Lipstick in Incognito: Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee
My Thoughts: This is my first time wearing blue shadow and I think it looks good on me! It looks retro, but the dark blue on the lower lashes looks cool with the light blue. Also, the rest of the face is really natural so it doesn't over power the eye look.

Spring Look #10: Urban Decay
This look was created by cosmeticcouturier http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmczgPrYf1s She uses cruelty-free and vegan makeup. I've learned a lot about that from her. She has inspired me to find out more about products that are cruelty-free and use them instead of other brands. I still have makeup that isn't cruelty free that I still use though. I like how she promotes good things and you can tell she has a lot of integrity. When she promotes products, you know that she has used them and that she likes them. This look was used mainly with Urban Decay products. I don't have Urban Decay, so this is how I duped the look. The only thing I used that wasn't cruelty free that is listed below is Mac and Maybelline.
1. Eye Cream
2. Eye Primer
3. Concealer
4. Urban Decay Tease: Mac Quarry
5. Urban Decay Foxy: Wet 'n Wild Vanity Palette, 1st color
6. Urban Decay Zephyr: Wet 'n Wild Pride Palette, 1st color
7. Urban Decay Sin: Wet 'n Wild Walking on Eggshells, eyelid color
8. Urban Decay Cobra (black with gold shine): Wet 'n Wild 8-Pan Palette in Blue Had Me At Hello, 8th color (black with silver glitter, the glitter doesn't show up much though)
9. Lit Clearly Glitter Base: I didn't use this or any dupe.
10. Lit Cosmetics Glitter in Champagne Wishes: Maybelline Eye Studio Color Explosion in Forest Fury, shimmery champagne gold top coat (I used my finger to pat this on my eyelid.)
11. Liquid Liner
12. Eyeliner
13. Urban Decay YDK: Elf Brightening Eye Color in Day 2 Night, last shade
14. Foundation
15. Concealer
16. Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Amber Nectar
17. Selma Hayek Nuance Ultra Shine Lip Gloss in #125 Pomegranate (hot pink): Elf Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Pink Lemonade
My Thoughts: I think this is a pretty look. I feel like I keep saying that about these looks. I wouldn't make a blog about it, if I didn't recommend the look. She says to use a pencil brush to put on the crease color. I did that, but it was very difficult. I would recommend using a crease brush. Also, I thought it odd that she named the look Glistening White Lilies because it doesn't look like that to me. She might have just named it that for Easter time.
Here is a basket of all the eyeshadows I used! It took a lot of eyeshadows, but the look wasn't difficult, and my eyes don't look muddy or anything. In the upper right you can see the Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Amber Nectar. It is such a pretty palette. It has a rose design on it.
Here is how it looks on my face. I'm sorry it's so hard to see my eye makeup. I think my eyes are hooded or something. You can see how the cheeks are very natural and the lips are a bright pink.
1. Eye Cream

Spring Look #9: Chanel
This look I found on Chanel's YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7NdFVL7U3I It is their newest collection for Spring 2012 called "Harmonie de Printemps" which is "Harmony of Spring" in French. Lisa Eldridge does the tutorial. I absolutely love her. She is such an artist. I get so inspired when I watch her put on makeup. I don't have Chanel makeup, but I used my own products to duplicate the look. This is my favorite of all the Spring looks I've done so far.
1. Les 4 Ombres/Quadra Eyeshadow in Eclosion (Hatching), peach shade: Wet 'n Wild Palette in Greed, 2nd color
2. Stylo Yeux Waterproof/Long Lasting Eyeliner in Garnet: You can use your favorite brown eyeliner. I used Covergirl Liquiline Blast in Brown Blaze
3. Plum shade from the quad: Maybelline Eye Studio Color Explosion in Amethyst Ablazed, the darkest purple color
4. Highlight shade from the quad: Milani Runway Eyes Eyeshadow in Golden Touch. I used Elf Makeup Mist and Set to spray my brush and apply the shadow wet because it is more pigmented that way.
5. Mascara
6. Blush Horizon de Chanel/Glowing Blush Harmony, She mixed all the colors together on the blush: Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink
7. Rouge Coco Balm: You could use your favorite lip balm. I used EOS Lip Balm in Mint.
8. Le Crayone Levres/Precision Lip Definer in Rose Corail: L'Oreal Infallible Never Fail Lip Liner in Coral
9. Rouge Coco/Hydrating Creme Lip Coloring in Paradis: Wet 'n Wild Mega Shield Lip Color SPF 15 in Within These Adobe Walls
My Thoughts: I just love all the colors and how they go together. It wasn't difficult to do either.
This was the clearest picture my camera could take. I can't get it to get a good close up of my eyes with my eyes closed, so you can see the eye makeup properly. I hope the picture gives you sort of an idea of what the finished product looked like. You can see the purple shadow under my eyes and my lip color. My cheeks have a very light pink look to them.
I hope you like my Spring looks. Leave a comment to tell me what you think! Have you tried to duplicate any looks yourself? I would love to hear about it!

Spring Look #8: Coral
Here is another Spring look by pixi2woo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MY2x1uQ9e8A This video is from 2010, but it's interesting how the coral trend is still popular. At least, I think it is. This is the look I'm wearing today. I think it's a nice look for a sunny day.
1. Face Primer
2. Foundation
3. Concealer
4. Eyebrows
5. Mac Naked Lunch: Wet 'n Wild Trio in Walking on Eggshells, eyelid color

11. Mac Blush in Virgin Isle: Elf Candid Coral
12. Mac Lipstick in Costa Chic: Wet 'n Wild Mega Shield Lip Color SPF 15 in Within These Adobe Walls

Spring Look #7: Easter
Happy Easter! This is the look I'm wearing today for Easter. It is a pixi2woo creation. She normally uses products that I don't have. The products are too expensive or they are in the UK so it would be difficult for me to get my hands on them. This is a look she did a year ago for Spring. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lLlcOnDKrU
1. Foundation
2. Concealer
3. Eye Primer
4. Illamasqua Pastel Lilac Cream Pigment: Instead of a cream, I used a shadow. NYC Individual Eyes in Bryant Park, 1st color pastel purple
5. Bare Minerals in Devotion: Maybelline Eye Studio Color Explosion in Amethyst Ablazed, the darkest purple color in the palette
6. Mac Vanilla Pigment: Elf Beauty Eye Manual Bright Eye Edition, 1st eye color
7. Mascara
8. Eyebrows
9. 35 Bourjois Blush in Lune D'or: This is a peachy, golden beige shade. I used Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Hermosa Rose
10. Illamasqua Blush in Lies: This is a cream highlighter. I used a powder one. Physicians Formula Mineral Glow Pearls in Translucent Pearl
11. Bourjois 3D Lip Gloss in Rose Charismatic: Revlon Colorburst Lip Gloss in Pink Ice
My Thoughts: I think it looks really pretty. The face doesn't take away from the eyes. The stand out is the eyes with the pretty purple in the crease. I think it brings out the green in my hazel eyes. The rest of the face looks really natural. I was afraid the lips would look too lavender, but it just looks like a pretty pink gloss.

Spring Look #6: Pop of Mint
This look is by LoveMelisaMichelle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbcnBPbdbIQ This is another great look that uses inexpensive products. I own a lot of what she used, so I was so happy with this tutorial. The girl who made this look up is so beautiful and she is a mom of twins boy and girl. Sometimes her kids are in her videos and they are so cute. She makes fun videos. I also like how she gets bargains.
1. NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk: I used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cottage Cheese
2. Wet 'n Wild Vanity Palette
3. Wet 'n Wild Pride Palette
4. Milani Sunset Beach Blush: Milani Baked Blush in Coralina

6. Highlight by Victoria's Secret limited edition looks like leopard print on it: Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Amber Nectar
7. NYX Round Lipstick in Honey: Revlon Lipstick in Soft Nude
8. Bonnebell Lip Lites in Cappuccino
My Thoughts: I think this looks good. I think this is the best way for me to wear the pretty mint color. It's just a little bit of mint, and the rest of the eye is natural. Also, the coral blush looks pretty against the mint color. I like how the lips are nude because it makes the eyes stand out more. I'm surprised this looks good on me because the girl who did this tutorial has a darker complexion than me.

Spring Look #5: Flirty
This next look I have for you is by bubzbeauty. She is very famous on Youtube. If you don't already know about her, she is this sweet girl from I think Ireland. (I'm not sure.) She has an accent. She does very cute makeup and hair tutorials. I tried out this look she did, and I decided to include it in my little "Spring Look" series. You can watch her tutorial here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evHAp4y2Ah0. She uses products that I don't have. Even if I wanted to have them, I'm not sure where to get them. So of course I duped them with my drugstore products.

12. Benefit Blush in Hervana: Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush in Natural
My Thoughts: It's really colorful, using Springtime colors. Even though it's colorful, it is wearable. It's fun.

This is my 100th post! So for my fourth look I have this look from xeverygirlx. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_17DMPa8bc She is only 17 I think, but she does really wearable looks. Also, she's a redhead so I feel like her tutorials usually look good on me because I'm a redhead too.

Spring Look #3: Naked 2
This next look is by MissBecky0207. She does a wonderful blog called, "Everyday Makeup." She also has a youtube channel and she did a Spring look using her Naked 2 palette. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVWKOLmTzYE I don't have that palette, so I decided to dupe it today and I really love this look. I'll show you what I did.
1. Eye Primer
2. Tease: Mac Quarry (I don't have a cheap alternative.)
3. Half Baked: left color in L'Oreal HIP duo in Dynamic
4. Chopper: Milani Runway Eyes Fashion Shadows in 01 Designer Browns, 2nd from top
5. Bootycall: Wet 'n Wild Lust Palette, 4th shade
6. Blackout: Wet 'n Wild Greed Palette, 3rd shade
7. Gel Liner
8. Mascara
9. Wet 'n Wild 24 Carrot Gold Lipstick
10. Elf Cream Blush in Heart Breaker: NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Natural
My Thoughts: I really like this look. The lips are so pretty. This is my first time wearing 24 Carrot Gold. The face looks really fresh. The gold on the eyes goes with the gold in the lips.

Spring Look #2: Shimmery Purple
This next look in my series is actually very inexpensive. If you were to follow this tutorial using the products the makeup artist uses. I just didn't have any of those products, but I did have dupes. So if you want to recreate this look it wouldn't be expensive to use exactly what she has or also what I used. I love looks that look good, but are easily purchased (if that makes any sense). I'm not sure exactly where this girl is from, she has an accent. I love her videos. I also think she has a great personality. I think I would be friends with her if I knew her in real life. This is The Makeup Chair. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXXO9u0GUko
1. Elf Tickled Pink Blush: I used the pink/peach blush that comes in Elf's Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder
2. Rimmel Gloss in Candy Bar: I used Elf's Hypershine Gloss in Blossom
3. Miss Sport Cream Stick: I used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Cottage Cheese (You could use Milk if you have that one.)
4. Luminess Air in Plumkin: She says you could also use Rimmel Colour Mousse 013 or Elf Cream Shadow in Eggplant if you don't have Plumkin. I used Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow in Va Va Va Bloom 725, the first color which is the darkest plum.
5. Elf Brightening Eye Color in Pretty in Pink: I don't have this quad. I used Wet 'n Wild's Pride Palette the 4th color that is white and sparkly. For the light baby pink color, I used Maybelline Eye Studio's Quad in Mad for Mauve 1st color. For the darker pink/purple color I used the 2nd shade in the Mad for Mauve quad. I skipped the part where she put a darker pink on the outer portion because I really did that with the 2nd shade.
My Thoughts: This look is pretty on hazel eyes. It was tricky putting the cream in the outer v for some reason for me, but I figured it out and luckily it blended out nicely. The rest of the face is natural and appropriate for daytime sunniness. (I didn't know "sunniness" was a real word, but it isn't being underlined so I guess it is!)

Spring Look #1: Olive Green & Bright Coral
Just like how I made lists of pretty makeup looks I like, I wanted to do the same thing with Spring looks. I decided to break it up into a blog for each look, and show how I dupe the look. I follow the tutorial as best as I can, but I use makeup that I already have. Most of the time it is cheaper makeup, but it still makes a good look. I wanted to share with you what I did today. I copied a look by pixi2woo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Z_BHonXEBQ. I will list what she used and then show what I used instead. For certain products I left it blank because you can use whatever product you wish for those.
1. Foundation
2. Concealer
3. Nars Paramaribo: The Nars eyeshadow duo has a light green and a dark green color in it. For the light green I used Wet 'n Wild Comfort Zone 8-Pan Palette, the 2nd shade on the right. For the dark green, I used the olive shade in Maybelline's Enchanted Forest.
4. Pixiglow Fairy Dust: I used NYC Sparkle Eye Dust in Champagne
5. Mascara
6. Powder
7. Bronzer
8. Mac Something Special Cream Blend Blush: I used Elf Candid Coral Blush.
9. Mac Costa Chic Lipstick: I used Wet 'n Wild Within These Adobe Walls.
My Thoughts: This is really pretty. I think the colors look good on me. It's great for a nice sunny Spring time day. Most of today was sunny. I think the coral and green go really well together.
