Favorite TV Show
The Real Housewives of Miami: The newest season started this month. I am so excited. I get so involved in these ladies lives. I like to watch these shows with my mom. It is about a bunch of wealthy women who get into fights with each other and have all kinds of drama in their lives. Sometimes they are friends, sometimes they are enemies. It is very intriguing and addicting! It's on Bravo.
Favorite Beauty Items
1. Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara in Black: This was really raved about on Youtube. Several of the people I subscribe to were loving this and it looked like it really made their lashes look lush. I couldn't find this in the stores. I thought there was going to be a display for it. I found it tucked away on the little Jordana shelf with the rest of the Jordana makeup. It was very inexpensive. It only costs $2.99! This mascara is so good! Normally, I switch around what mascara I use and try different kinds, but I think the next time I get mascara I will be sticking with this one. I love it!
2. Bath & Body Works Body Lotion in Warm Vanilla Sugar: I love this lotion! It smells so good and it is wonderful to use when you are finished taking a shower. My body is so dry it just drinks this stuff in. I got this as a Christmas present and I didn't really use it for some reason. I've been bad at moisturizing my body. But this month I've been exfoliating and moisturizing. I've used this almost all up! I have gotten compliments on the smell too. It is a very comforting smell.
3. DIY Mint Cacao Lip Scrub: My mom introduced me to pinksofoxy's youtube channel, and this month I've been watching her videos and trying out her DIY beauty products. You can find her video on how to make this scrub here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWEoJuG5a8I. It is so yummy and smells so good. This is the best lip scrub I've ever used. I like to use it when I take a shower, so it's ok if I make a mess. I've used almost the whole batch I made. I think I probably need to make a new one. There is something fun about making your own products. It's like a craft project or something. It's really easy to make. If I can make it, anybody can!
4. DIY Sugar Cookie Body Scrub: This is another DIY by pinksofoxy. You can find the tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ktg4Bwb1aVo. I don't think I used the right kind of coconut oil because what she used was a liquid, and what I got was a solid, but I made it work. I used the whole bottle of Monoi Oil Vanilla! I ordered that, so it might be awhile before I make this again. It smells really good and works very well. When I got a pedicure this month and the lady doing my toes was putting stuff on my legs, she said my legs felt like baby legs! lol! I took it as a compliment. I think that is thanks to this scrub.
5. Gillette Venus & Olay Sugarberry Razor: I saw someone's blog and she was raving about this. I wanted to try a new razor and I decided to get this. It has moisture bars on it, so you don't need to use shaving cream. It works really well. It smells good too.
6. DIY Leave-In Conditioner Spray: This is another DIY by pinksofoxy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGFEemVRYnM. I dumped out my Frizz-Ease conditioner spray, so I could use the bottle. I didn't like it very much. I used the conditioner I have been using. I spray this on my hair when I get out of the shower and I think it works good. I do this once a week. It's a deeply moisturizing treatment for the hair.
7. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold: These are similar to MAC's paint pots. They are cream bases. If you put this on your eye and then a gold eye shadow, it will make the gold shadow even more pigmented. It also lasts a long time on the eye. This is a medium-dark gold. It is lighter on the skin and more gold than Maybelline Color Tattoo in Gold Shimmer. This is a true gold. It is shimmery. The shimmer doesn't really show on my swatch. It's a very beautiful color.
8. Elf Hypershine Gloss in Blossom: This is a light pink gloss with a hint of peach in it and very fine shimmers. It is inexpensive. It is only $1! It has lasted a long time, and I love this gloss. It is like a makeup staple. You know how people say something is wardrobe staple? That is what this is for your makeup collection.
9. Freeman Facial Anti-Stress Mask Dead Sea Minerals: This is actually a sample I got at Walmart. This is an amazing mask. I will buy the full size. It says it clarifies & renews skin. "This anti-stress mud mask, with Dead Sea Minerals, instantly absorbs excess oil while clarifying and purging clogged pores. Rinse away the mask to reveal smooth, radiant, healthy looking skin." It does what it claim to do. I heard ciaoobelllaxo talking about this as one of her favorite things. This was another product I had a hard time finding. At my Walmart there is a section at the end of one of the aisles that has a bunch of sample masks hanging. I was so excited to see this there. After that, I have since then seen a full size of this at Rite Aid. It looks funny when you have this on because it a bright turquoise color. (It's my favorite color, actually.) So you can scare people with it too, which is a bonus. xD
10. Boots No.7 High Lights Illuminating Lotion: I don't remember who was talking about this product. It might have been Lisa Eldridge. I just remember someone on Youtube turned me onto this product. I found it at Target. It is one of my all-time favorite highlighters. It is like a lotion and it has a pink tint. It gives a beautiful luminosity to the face. I use it to dupe a lot of highlighters.

Positive Changes Week 2
Well, it seems to be working! I lost 4 lbs! I'm so happy about it. I was afraid I wasn't being hypnotized. I had a doctor's appointment and while I was there I told him about Positive Changes, and being hypnotized. He seemed very skeptical about it. He was very discouraging. He was talking about how some people can't be hypnotized, and that the results are mixed. I left feeling really depressed. The thing that is funny about this program is it is all about positive changes (hence the name). I tend to be negative and I don't like change, so this program is out of my comfort zone.
Every day I listen to an AM and PM CD that is hypnotizing me. What happens is I close my eyes and lay down, and the cd prompts me to relax. Then it has a lot of positive messages and tells me what to visualize. I'm using my imagination. I do get really relaxed, but I didn't know if I was being hypnotized. It encourages me to exercise and eat healthy. To imagine myself in a year. Also, when I went to my first session where I was hypnotized, they taped it for me and I'm supposed to listen to that CD 3 times a day. By now, I'm kind of tired of the CD's because it is so repetitive. I was listening to it once a day because they say that is good, but I found out later in the week you really are supposed to listen to it 3 times.
I went to my first accell class, which is where you go into this room filled with reclined chairs. There were two other people in the room, one was an overweight man and the other was an elderly woman. This time I brought a pillow to support my neck because the first time I had neck pain (I have arthritis in my neck). You put on these glasses that are extremely bright and do weird swirly motions. You have your eyes closed. Then you put on headphones. Every time they play a different CD. This CD was about saying yes and no. My glasses weren't working, and I should have said something, but I didn't realize it until after it was done. I found out later that you can be hypnotized without the glasses. I remember thinking about this time in my life where I should have said no to someone, but I didn't. The CD was weird because there were two voices speaking in different ears. You could choose which voice to listen to. There was one voice that was louder and one that was quieter. I tried to listen to the quieter one because I was curious. I remember it saying that junk food was black and white or something like that. After the CD was over I noticed the plug wasn't plugged in all the way on my glasses and only one eye was working. So I felt like I hadn't really been hypnotized, but who knows.
The second time I went to the clinic I went to a class. There were about ten people there, all ages and body types. We sat in reclining chairs and they had a paper on a clipboard for us to take notes. We watched a video about the benefits of exercise. It said what can happen to your body if you don't exercise. It gave ideas of what to do to add exercise into your life. It also talked about "rebounding" which is jumping on a trampoline. It seemed like they were advertising it. I bet you can buy it through the clinic. Any type of exercise is encouraged: aerobic, strengthening, and stretching. They said 30 minutes 3-5 days/week is good. I'm going to try to walk 3-5 times a week around my neighborhood. That's what I did this past week. One day it was raining so I watched a video On Demand. It was a beginner walking video. I'm also making playlists on my iPod, to listen to when I exercise. After the video we put on our hypnotizing glasses and listened to a CD about exercising. I found the glasses to be really annoying. This time I made sure it was working, but it was so bright. I found myself not really relaxing or listening to the CD, but being really distracted by the glasses. Again, I felt like I wasn't hypnotized.
On Saturday I got a call from the clinic and a hypnotist had a short conversation with me. She encouraged me to drink 8 glasses of water every day and listen to my CD's 3 times a day. I told her that I lost weight, and she seemed surprised. I told her that the glasses didn't work the one time and that they were too bright. She said you can get tissue and put it in the glasses. They turn the glasses up to the highest setting. When I am one on one, they will turn the glasses to a setting that is appropriate for me. She said that you don't even need the glasses to be hypnotized. I feel like when it is so bright it actually keeps me from being hypnotized, but I will use tissue the next time.
I have been eating healthy and drinking lots of water. I still have overeaten and I can tell I am an emotional eater. I didn't always make the best choices in food. This week I am meeting someone one on one for a coaching session. I don't think I will be hypnotized. On another day I have a class. It's called, "Forgetting Fattening Foods and Think Yourself Thin." At the end of every class is a hypnotizing session.
So this is all very interesting to me. Since I lost 4 lb. I feel like it must be working. I feel motivated to eat healthy and to exercise, which is a good thing. So this program may actually work for me. I really hope it does.

Pretty Makeup Looks 2013 Part 3
I chose to put a picture of the ocean here because going to the beach is one of my favorite activities and I think you can get the prettiest pictures at the beach. This is a picture of a beach in Hawaii. I have never gone there, but it is one of the places I would like to visit. Since this is a list of some pretty looks, I wanted to include a pretty picture of course. I wish the summer would last forever. Pictures of beaches make me think of summer.
These are 10 looks I found on Youtube that inspired me and after doing my best to copy them on my face, I feel they have made me look pretty and get my stamp of approval. A lot of these looks are old because I have such a long list of looks! I can't keep up with them! I also have found people this summer who I like their makeup looks and have watched their older videos. So some of these people are new to me. Maybe they will be new to you.
These are the products I used a lot:
Concealer: Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer in Radiant (under eyes), Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer in Ivory (blemishes), Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Concealer Palette
Eye Shadow Primer: Milani Eyeshadow Primer
Mascara: Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara in Black (top lashes), Maybelline Lash Discovery Mini-Brush Waterproof in Very Black (bottom lashes)
Brown Eye Liner: Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Brown
Black Eye Liner: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero
Black Liquid Liner: Jordana Incolor Fabuliner Liquid Eye Liner in Black
Black Gel Liner: Essence Midnight in Paris
Face Primer: L'Oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base, L'Oreal Studio Secrets Anti-Redness Primer
Foundation: Boots No.7 Beautifully Matte Foundation in Cool Ivory
Powder: Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in Light
Bronzer: Maybelline Dream Sun Bronzing Powder in Matte Light
Lip Balm: Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched
In these looks I list what the person used, where they put it, and then what I used to duplicate the look. Sometimes I have the same products they used, in those cases I just leave it blank. Like in the first look I used almost everything she used because I already had it. I try to use what I already have, instead of running out and buying what the video person uses. I like to use inexpensive products. So a lot of the times I will find a cheaper dupe to a high end product someone uses. I hope that people will be inspired to save their money and shop their stash of makeup that they already have to do a look or maybe it will be helpful to see an inexpensive dupe they could get if they don't want to spend a lot of money. Also, sometimes I like the looks done by people in other countries who use products that I don't have in the U.S. or they use products that were limited edition or discontinued. I hope this all make sense. I'm doing my best to explain my reasoning behind these blog posts. I hope someone found it helpful. If you are still confused, just click the link to the video and watch the person do the look and hopefully that will make more sense. Sometimes the people teach what they are doing as they do it, and you can learn a lot about how to apply your makeup. I have learned so much.
These are the 10 pretty looks:
1. Green & Taupe Drugstore Makeup Tutorial by MakeupByAlli http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fn82OtpK2eg
a. Wet 'n Wild Comfort Zone Palette, top right color, eyelid
b. Same Palette, 3rd on the right, outer crease
c. Same Palette, 2nd on the right, crease, blend it out
d. Same Palette, 1st color on the left, under brow
e. Cover Girl Eye Liner in Green Glow, lower lash line: Pixiglow Straight On Till Morning Liner in 2nd Star Twinkle
f. Same Palette, 4th color on the right, line upper lash line bottom edge of outer v, lower lashes 2/3
g. Same Palette, 2nd color on the right, lower lash line, tear duct, brush all along the lower lashes
h. Same Palette, 1st color on the left, inner corner
i. Black Liquid Liner, upper lash line, wing
j. Brown Eye Liner, waterline, tightline
k. Mascara
l. Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso
m. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Charm
n. Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Peach Petal, blend with finger
My Thoughts: I'm really proud of myself because this is the first time I've done the wing liner, and I think I did a good job! I think it's because I've been watching a lot of videos where people have done the wing, so I've learned or maybe I just got lucky today. The eyes are very green. I guess the taupe is on the eyelid. Everything else is green. It is really pretty.
2. Half Face Drugstore; other Half Highend Makeup by Melissa Raymond http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1BSuLsir-E
a. Foundation
b. Concealer
c. Bronzer, hollows of cheeks, sides of nose, jaw, temples
d. MAC Pinch O Peach/NYX Bourgeois Pig: I used Covergirl Pretty Peach Blush.
e. NYX Aqua Marine, center color/ Urban Decay Peace, eyelid into the crease: I used Peace from the Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box.
f. MAC Scene/Revlon Eyeshadow Quad in Goddess, gray color, crease: I used Revlon Goddess.
g. MAC Gesso/Revlon Eyeshadow Quad in Goddess, white color, under brow: I used Revlon Goddess.
h. Black Eye Liner, upper lash line, smudge it out, lower lash line, outer half, smudge it out
i. Urban Decay Peace, lower lash line
j. Mascara
k. NYX Lip Liner in Fuchsia: I used Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Lip Liner in Indian Pink.
l. MAC Up the Amp/Maybelline Vivid in Brazen Berry: I used Wet 'n Wild Lipstick in 525d Retro Pink. (It is supposed to be a dupe for MAC Up the Amp.)
My Thoughts: I love it when people do half face high end, half face drugstore. You can really see how the makeup compares. The person has to find a very close dupe in order for the look to work. I love it when people find dupes. I hope it isn't too confusing for me to list the products because sometimes I used a third product that is a dupe of the dupe, or a different dupe of the highend product. I don't know if I like the blue eyes. I'm afraid I look like the woman on the Drew Carey show. I really like the color. I think if I'm going to wear the color, this is the way to wear it. The gray looks good in the crease, and I think the black liner makes the look more wearable.

u. Pumpkin & Poppy Cosmetics Lip Butter in Evenstar: Studio Gear Complete Color Lipstick in Mocha Berry
My Thoughts: I think this look is good for hazel eyes. The colors complement my eye color I think. The eye look reminds me of a fall look. Actually, the whole look has fall colors in it. It looks good if you have warm coloring. I also really like the names of things in this collection. The makeup collection was inspired by "The Lord of the Rings." I love those books and movies! It is a lot of makeup, but it is really beautiful. I definitely felt like a makeup artist, doing this look.

6. (RQ) Too Faced Natural Eye Palette Makeup Tutorial by TheDailyCupcake http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNIp9x8g8H4
a. Too Faced Natural Eye Palette, Heaven and Silk Teddy, lash line to eyebrow, with a sponge tip applicator: Wet 'n Wild Brûlée and L'Oreal Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow in Iced Latte
b. Same Palette, Honey Pot and NYX Eye Shadow in Cherry, crease, blending brush: L'Oreal Hip Duo in Dynamic, left side with Wet 'n Wild Knock on Wood, red color
c. Same Palette, Coco Puff, Push-Up and NYX Eye Shadow in Cherry, outer half of lid, outer v, outer crease, maybe watch video to see how she does it, she used a sponge tip applicator: Maybelline Eye Studio in Natural Shock, 4th color, Elf Baked Eye Shadow in Toasted
d. Blend it out with the blending brush.
e. Black Liquid Liner, upper lash line, wing
f. Mascara top lashes
g. NYX Bronze Glitter Pencil in waterline, lower lash line, bring it up along side the wing: Elf Shimmer Eye Liner Pencil in Boldly Bronzed
h. Same Palette, Push Up and NYX Eye Shadow in Cherry, lower lash line, using an eye liner brush
i. Same Palette, Silk Teddy and Nude Beach, inner half of lower lash line, using the same eye liner brush: L'Oreal Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow in Iced Latte
j. Mascara bottom lashes
k. Same Palette, Silk Teddy and Heaven, inner half of eye, with the sponge tip applicator: Wet 'n Wild Brûlée and L'Oreal Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow in Iced Latte

m. NYX Blush in Pinky: Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush in Pink
n. Rimmel East End Snob Lip Liner
o. NYX Lip Liner in Peony
p. Rimmel Lipstick in Nostalgia: Covergirl Lipstick in Rapture
q. NYX Eye Shadow in Barely There over the lips: Wet 'n Wild Walking on Eggshells, 1st color
My Thoughts: In my dupe list I have found that Stila Kitten is a dupe for both Silk Teddy and Nude Beach, so whenever it says to use both colors I'm just going to use my dupe for Stila Kitten (which is Iced Latte). She doesn't say how she wears the two lip liners. It just lists that is what she is wearing. She doesn't show herself putting on the lip products. I have both lip liners, so what I did was I lined my lips and filled them in with East End Snob. Then with Peony I just lined my lips and blended it in. Make sure your lips are exfoliated really well or else it won't look good. I used the Elf Lip Exfoliator. Rimmel Nostalgia has been discontinued I think. I couldn't find it in the stores. I'm really not used to doing my eyes like she does them. I think my eye is shaped differently than her's, so it is difficult to do the outer v shape for me. Before I did my wing, I used a makeup wipe to clean up the edge of my eye shadow to make sure it was lined up with the end of my eye and my eyebrow. This is a really pretty look. It reminds me of the Spring or Summer. The Daily Cupcake is such a gem! I'm so glad I found her. She doesn't have very many videos. I guess she had an old channel. She is hilarious! I love her! She has such great fashion sense and she is so pretty. She seems very down to earth. I really recommend her.
7. Natural Bronze Makeup Tutorial by pinksofoxy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=005pKlw2kx4
a. Eye Primer
b. Too Faced Summer Eye Palette, Peach Fuzz, inner half of lid, inner corner: Wet 'n Wild Silent Treatment, browbone color
c. Same Palette, Toasted Coconut, outer 1/3 up to the crease, crescent moon shape, see video: Wet 'n Wild Comfort Zone, 3rd color
d. Same Palette, Chocolate Sun, outer lash line, outer v with a slight wing, up into the crease just slightly: Maybelline Sunbaked Neutrals, 5th color
e. Blend it out.
f. Toasted Coconut, tip of blending brush, inside the outer v and drag it in a little in the crease
g. MAC Brûlée, browbone highlight: Wet 'n Wild Brûlée
h. MAC Dazzlelight, inner corner: lightest color in Maybelline Enchanted Forest
i. Toasted Coconut, outer 1/3 of lower lash line
j. Black Gel Liner, outer half of upper lash line, close to lashes, wing, see video
k. Mascara
l. Nude Eye Liner, waterline
m. Powder
n. Victoria's Secret Goddess Bronzer on cheeks, forehead, nose: Wet 'n Wild Bronzer in Everything Under the Sun
o. MAC Blush in Sunbasque: Hard Candy Blush Crush in Bombshell
p. Makeup Forever Lip Liner 1c: Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses in Spice
q. MAC Lipstick in Freckletone: Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brûlée
My Thoughts: Again, I'm having trouble following the eye shape she makes with the brown colors, so I'm afraid it looks kind of funny. I'm going to take my makeup wipe and make the angle go from the end of my eye to the end of my eyebrow in a clean diagonal. If you watch the video, you can see how perfectly she lines her gel liner. I totally botched it up. I'm going to take a q-tip and clean up my line. I'm going to go in and add more of the peach from Silent Treatment to my eyelid because I removed some of it with the makeup remover on the q-tip. Some people use tape to make their wings. I'm going to have to try that one of these days. The bronzer I used is different than my normal contour bronzer. This one isn't matte. It was also limited edition, but you could use any bronzer that has a shimmer in it. It is pretty simple to find a bronzer like that. The Bombshell blush is pretty dark for my skin color, but I used a light hand and I think it looks really pretty. I think it goes with my warm coloring. It almost looks like a sun burn turning into a tan, so it looks natural on my face. I hope I don't look too bronzed in the face compared to my neck and the rest of my body. The lip liner Spice looks so natural on my lips. It is a "my lips but better" lip liner. I love it! I really like this look. I feel like a bronzed goddess! xD
8. Rachel Weisz - Oz the Great and Powerful - Makeup Tutorial by pixiwoo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZinsSmIGWE
a. Face Primer
b. Foundation
c. Sleek Au Naturale Divine Palette, looking at it with the black on the top left, she uses the third from the right all over the lid: Wet 'n Wild Vanity, 2nd color
d. Same Palette, the one right above the lid color, she uses in the socket: Wet 'n Wild I Heart Matte, 7th color
e. Same color, outer part of lid at an angle (see video)
f. Same color, outer half of lower lash line
g. Black Liquid Liner, upper lash line, little flick
h. Mascara top lashes
i. Concealer
j. Mascara on bottom lashes
k. MAC Blush in Buff, back of the cheekbones: Milani Blush in Warm Petals
l. Illamasqua Cream Blush in Ravish, used a stippling brush: The Balm Stainiac in Beauty Queen
m. MAC Beet Lip Liner: Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Stay On Lip Contouring Pencil in Red Dynamite
n. Avon Totally Kissable Lipstick in Smitten Red: Revlon Cherries in the Snow
o. Bourjois Lip Gloss 06: Be A Bombshell Lip Gloss in Hot Mess
My Thoughts: Again, I find it difficult to do the outer v part, I guess I'm a slow learner. I wish Sam would come over to my house and draw a diagram on my eye and say, "Here, color in this part this color." Whatever it is that I came up with still looks good, but I'm just a perfectionist I guess and I feel like I still didn't do it right. The look is very glamorous. For some reason I feel fancy when I have a red glossy lip on.

d. MAC Naked Lunch on lid: 1st shade in Wet 'n Wild Sand Castle
e. MAC Expensive Pink on crease: Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso
f. Chanel Les 4 Ombre's in Radiant Gems, brown with red undertones, crease: Wet 'n Wild Vanity, 3rd color
g. Eye Liner Pencil, upper lash line, thicker as you go outside, lower lash line a little bit
h. MAC Nylon, inner corner, down the nose just the middle, cupid's bow, top of cheekbones: Wet 'n Wild Vanity, 4th shade
i. Mascara
j. The Face Shop Illuminating Blush in Violet: Bare Minerals Blush in Kiss
k. Missha Lip Gloss + Lip Balm, nudey pink color: Elf Hypershine Lip Gloss in Blossom
My Thoughts: I wasn't sure how I would like Luminoso on my eye, but it looks really pretty. It also helps to have the brown in the crease. The Kiss blush is so pretty. This is a really pretty peachy-pink look. It's very cute and easy to do.

p. Sonia Kashuk Blush in Sunset
q. The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer, top of cheekbones, nose, cupid's bow, under brows
r. Revlon Lip Liner in Rose (but she wanted a coral lip liner): L'Oreal Infallible Never Fail Lip Liner in Coral
s. Makeup Forever 38 Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick: Maybelline Vivid in Shocking Coral
t. MAC Lip Glass in Pink Lemonade: Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Coral Reef
My Thoughts: I love Sunset blush. I'm so happy I got it. It is like a matte coral blush. I really recommend it. The eyes are neutral and the lips are coral. This is a nice summertime look.

Positive Changes Week 1
I didn't know if I would share this on my blog because I feel a little weird about it, but it might be helpful to someone. I have been struggling to lose weight for about 10 years now. I'm about 90 lbs over weight. I have been doing the Jenny Craig plan for several years. I have lost weight, but then gained it back. This past week I decided to join Positive Changes which is a place that can help you quit smoking or lose weight. I'm not sure what other things it helps people with. It uses hypnosis technique! I have never been hypnotized before. I have had my first session and the first thing they did was ask me some questions about my goals for myself and supposedly random questions about myself, like what I like to do for fun. He used the answers to my questions to guide his hypnosis with me. They made me wear glasses that had lights blinking. I was reclined in a chair. I felt awake the whole time. I kept thinking about how I was not being hypnotized, like I didn't think it was working. And the back of my neck was hurting from the reclined position (I have arthritis in the back of my neck.) I think the next time I go I will bring a towel or something for the back of my neck. After he was done I told him that I didn't think it worked. He asked me if I remember being at the beach and I said that I remembered going to the beach because when he was talking about being at the beach I tried to picture myself there. He asked me if I remember having spasms in my arms! I totally didn't remember that. At one point my eyes started blinking, with my eyes closed, and I was trying really hard not to open my eyes because he told me to keep my eyes closed, and I didn't want to get hurt by the blinking lights, so maybe that has to do with hypnosis. I totally don't remember my arms spasming. He recorded it on a cd, and I'm supposed to listen to it once a day. They say if you listen to it three times a day it is best, so I've been doing that. I have noticed spasming in my fingers as I listen. It is so weird because I still don't feel like I'm being hypnotized, it just feels like I'm relaxing and listening to someone speaking.
It says that I might fall asleep, and if I do it's ok to keep sleeping, it will speak to my subconscious! This morning I was listening to it, and I fell asleep! I woke up and realized what had happened. It was so weird!
These are the changes I am trying to make in my life:
1. Eat 3 meals a day. Don't skip meals.
2. Eat fruits and vegetables.
3. Eat protein at every meal.
4. Park farther away then I need to.
5. Take walks.
6. I want to exercise more. So I'm thinking about doing stretches every day and some strengthening exercises.
7. Drink water a lot! This is very natural. I have been craving water since starting the program. Even writing this now, I'm starting to yearn for water! It is so weird.
8. Eat more slowly.
I had a friend in college who's Dad did hypnosis for weight loss. He found himself eating less carbs. He didn't do it on purpose. He just naturally didn't want to eat bread and stuff. He lost a lot of weight.
I really hope this program works for me. I have tried so many things. I used to be at a healthy weight and have a healthy relationship with food. I used to regularly exercise. I'm not sure exactly what caused the change.
I always feel funny paying so much attention to my makeup when it is just a small portion of my overall look. I know that I would look so much better if I would lose weight. I would lose weight in my face and it would be better than anything I can do with makeup.
I struggle with using food to make me happy and I find that I feel like I need it to comfort me. The foods that are unhealthy for me, are the foods that calm me emotionally. It is very much a psychological issue. When at Jenny Craig, my counselors would tell me they didn't know how to help me in regards to my mental barriers. There is something in me that rebels against diets. Like if someone tells me what to do, I want to do the opposite. If you tell me to not eat something, all I can think about is eating it!
The hypnotist told me there were two parts of myself. One side of me wants to eat healthy and exercise, and do everything I need to do to lose weight. The other side of me wants to eat foods that give me pleasure and doesn't want to be told what to do. So these two sides fight with each other. It doesn't matter which side I choose, I always will feel bad. That's why diets don't work. If I choose to eat healthy, the side of me that wanted junk food feels deprived. If I choose to eat unhealthy, I will feel guilty for going off my diet. So what Positive Changes is trying to do is bring these two sides together, so they work as a team. I'm not exactly sure how this is going to work. But I really want it to work!
I go to the clinic twice a week. They have a morning hypnosis cd for me to listen to and an evening one. I go to an acceleration class. This is where I will be hypnotized, I think with a group full of people. We each will have reclining chair with the light glasses and headphones. I think we get to chose what we want to listen to. Next week, I will tell you what my experience was like. Then I have a class I will go to on a different day. I'm not sure what the class will be about. There is a class where you learn nutrition information and there is a class where you learn more about hypnosis. After class there is a hypnosis session. Also during the week someone is going to call me asking me how things are going. I hope I will be able to do all this when I go back to work. I work at a school, so right now we are on vacation. I hope I'm not too tired to do everything, but I guess it is ok if I fall asleep because my subconscious will still be awake. (That is so weird!)
I will let you know if I lose weight. I have already noticed a change in drinking more water and I have urges to exercise. I'm not someone that dislikes water. I don't mind drinking it, I just usually drink Pepsi instead or I don't drink at all. I have a tendency to think of every excuse to not exercise. So it will be interesting to see how I do about that.
This lasts 9 months, and it is supposed to not be a diet and I won't be able to do it again. They have no returning clients because this is supposed to last the rest of your life. It sounds too good to be true. I really hope it works.
Let me know what your thoughts are. Please feel free to leave a comment! I love getting comments, and I don't often get them.
I'm so sorry for the person who left a comment. Somehow it got deleted. Thank you for your comment. I don't know why my blog is not letting people comment. And when I want to reply it is posting my full name, which I don't want to happen. I'm trying to fix it. This isn't very user friendly, unfortunately.
Her comment was something like, she would feel nervous to get hypnotized. I was very nervous. My heart was beating so fast! But it is like what I have experience before listening to relaxation tapes. They help you relax your muscles and breathe slowly and deeply. Then they help you visualize something, like imagine you are at the beach. So you feel like you are completely relaxed and are daydreaming. It isn't anything scary. I wasn't even sure I was hypnotized because it felt so normal.

Pretty Makeup Looks 2013 Part 2
Even though I've organized all the makeup looks I've found by the person who did the look. I've decided I want to mix it up a bit because it gets boring for me to stick with the same person every single day. People have a tendency to do similar looks, so I want to go from person to person. The thing they all have in common is that I liked the look and I thought it looked pretty on me. So hopefully you will like the look too, and it will give you some ideas for how to do your makeup.
These are the items I used frequently:
Concealer: Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer in Radiant (under eyes), Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Light (under eyes), Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Brightener (under eyes)
Bronzer: Maybelline Dream Sun Bronzing Powder in Matte Light
Eye Shadow Primer: Milani Eye Shadow Primer
Mascara: Maybelline Volum' Express Falsies Big Eyes Waterproof Mascara in Very Black, Covergirl Lash Perfection in Very Black (top lashes, 2nd coat)
Black Eye Liner: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero
Black Liquid Liner: Jordana Incolor Fabuliner Liquid Eye Liner in Black
Face Primer: Pixi Flawless & Poreless Face Primer in Translucent, Milk of Magnesia, L'Oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base
Foundation: Boots No.7 Beautifully Matte Foundation in Cool Ivory, Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin in Ivory
Powder: Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in Light
Lip Balm: Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched
Nude Eye Liner: Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Nude
Here are 10 tutorials of looks I liked. If you want to see the tutorial, click the link. I wrote the product they used on the left and what I used to copy it on the right. If I don't list anything it is because I had the product they used. I try to use what I already have.

The Urban Decay lip gloss has a minty scent to it, and I love the way it feels on my lips. I just have a little tube of it, but when it runs out I want the full size one. It is one of my favorite lip glosses.

q. MAC Lipstick in Gel, bottom and top center of lips: Revlon Lipstick in Champagne on Ice
My Thoughts: My mom actually found this channel and introduced it to me. I love her! She has so many great videos. I find her fascinating. She is very humble. She never claims to be a makeup artist, but I think she is an artist and I want to try out her looks. She does a lot of looks for warm-toned people. In this look the cheeks are coral, but everything else has brown tones in it. I think I can pull it off because I'm a warm-toned person, but it may not look good on cool-toned people.

p. Black Liner, waterline
q. Mascara
r. Milani Lip Liner in Hot Pink: Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Pure
s. Maybelline Lipstick in Vivid Rose: Milani Lipstick in Flamingo Pose
My Thoughts: Be careful with the blush. Use a stippling brush and brush it on the back of your hand before you put it on your cheeks. It is very pigmented! I love using Bold Gold under the Half Baked color. It makes the gold stand out more. This look makes me feel glamorous, even though it is an everyday look. I just feel really pretty.

p. Victoria Secret Lip Liner in Nude: Boots No.7 Nude Lip Pencil
q. Victoria Secret Lipstick in Whisper: Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Creme Brûlée
My Thoughts: I'm not used to the way she does eye makeup. I'm watching the video and trying to copy what she does, but it is difficult for me. We have different eye shapes. Whatever it is I end up doing looks good on me. This is like her other look because there is a lot of brown in it, other than the coral blush. I like it. I think brown looks good on me.
10. Michelle Williams - Glinda the Good - Makeup Tutorial by pixiwoo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVzmqco1hqo
a. Foundation
b. Urban Decay Glinda Palette, blue side of Aura, brow bone: Sephora Cinderella Palette in Glass Slipper
c. Same Palette, Illusion, from crease into Aura: Wet 'n Wild Silent Treatment, highlight color
d. Same Palette, South, eyelid into socket: The Balm Rockstar Palette in Metal-ica
e. Same Palette, pink side of Aura, inner corner, outer part of lower lash line and outer part of lid: Elf Maleficent Beauty Book in Spindle
f. Same Palette, Tornado, outside corner of upper and lower lashes: Too Faced The Return of Sexy Palette in Primadonna
g. Same Palette, Magic, inner corner, outer part of lower lash line and outer part of lid: Wet 'n Wild Shimmer the Night Away, 5th shade
h. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Rockstar, lower lash line: Wet 'n Wild Liner in Amethyst
i. Mascara
j. Peach Color Corrector under eyes: Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Concealer Palette
k. Illamasqua Lies Blush: Bare Minerals Clear Radiance
l. Daniel Sandler Chic Blush: NYC Blushable Creme Stick in Plaza Pink
m. Powder
n. Urban Decay Glinda Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color: Bare Minerals 100% Natural Lip Gloss in Cassis
My Thoughts: I just noticed I used a lot of different palettes to do this look. You don't have to use what I have of course. It's all about looking at what you have in your collection and finding colors to dupe whatever it is you need. At first I didn't like the eyes, but once the mascara was on I thought it looked pretty. It's weird how that works sometimes. The lip gloss is pretty. I was color matched at a Bare Minerals counter, and this is the lip gloss the lady chose for me. Don't forget your eye primer! I forgot it.
I hope you like these looks! Do you have a favorite Youtuber "makeup guru"? Do you try out the makeup looks on yourself?

One of my favorite nail polishes is ORLY Nail Lacquer in Rage. It is a beautiful rose gold color. I wanted it on my toes to match my flip flops. Then I decided to do it on my hands too. It's a really unique color. It just glows in the sunlight. I love it.

Summer Favorite Makeup Looks Part 5
Just when I thought the summer makeup looks had come to an end, I find more looks! The summer looks were starting to dwindle, so I thought people were over it, but I guess they are still being inspired. I love it because summer is different from the other seasons because it is so dang hot and you have to do your makeup completely different. I need all the help I can get!
I have learned if you have trouble being too oily it helps to get Milk of Magnesia (you can get it from the Dollar Store) and use a cotton ball to wipe it on your face before doing makeup. It will help keep your face from getting too oily. It is a good trick. It also helps to get a foundation that is for oily skin or combination. I had this, but the Milk of Magnesia was the trick I needed. Also, a matte powder is good.
This is the makeup I used with a lot of these looks.
Concealer: Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer in Radiant (under eyes), Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer in Ivory (under eyes)
Bronzer: Maybelline Dream Sun Bronzing Powder in Matte Light
Eye Shadow Primer: Milani Eyeshadow Primer
Mascara: Maybelline Volum' Express Falsies Big Eyes Waterproof Mascara in Very Black (top and bottom lashes), Covergirl Lash Perfection in Very Black (second layer of top lashes)
Black Eye Liner: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero
Face Primer: Milk of Magnesia, Pixi Flawless & Poreless Face Primer in Translucent
Foundation: Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin in Ivory, Boots No.7 Beautifully Matte Foundation in Cool Ivory
Powder: Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in Light
Lip Balm: Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched
Setting Spray: Urban Decay All Nighter Spray
Nude Eye Liner: Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Nude
Black Liquid Liner: Jordana Incolor Fabuliner Liquid Eye Liner in Black
These are the newest summer makeup looks I have adapted and copied for myself. The link is to the actual Youtube tutorial the person made of the look on themselves. My notes are what I did on my face and how I thought it looked on me. I only post looks on my blog that I personally liked on myself and would recommend to someone else.
1. Get Ready With Me: Summer Look with New Products! by emilynoel83 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTI_lfnvWkE
a. CC Cream
b. Concealer
c. Powder
d. Bronzer, temples, hollows of cheeks, jaw, neck
e. Stila Mango Crush Lip & Cheek Stain on her lips and cheeks: Sonia Kashuk Beautifying Blush in Sunset
f. Korres Lip Butter in Pomegranate: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Lovers Coral
g. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze, eyelid
h. Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigments in Buff & Tough, eyelid, crease: Sephora Cinderella Palette in Drizella
i. Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigments in Barely Brazen, under brow, inner corner: Wet 'n Wild Trio in Fauna, browbone color
j. Black Eye Liner, top lash line
k. Mascara
My Thoughts: Some people just want to use a bb cream or cc cream or a tinted moisturizer for the summertime. I want more coverage than that, and I want to be more matte. My new favorite blush is Sonia Kashuk's Sunset and I love the Lovers Coral Lipstick. These are new products for me. Drizella is a really beautiful eye shadow. It goes well on top of Bad to the Bronze.
2. Wearable Summer Gold Makeup by beeisforbeeauty http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IRCWpsKKDI
a. MAC Eye Pencil in Copper, bottom half of eyelid: Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trio in Warm Nude Eyes, copper
b. Urban Decay Half Baked, upper half of eyelid: left color in L'Oreal Hip Duo in Dynamic
c. Urban Decay Bootycall, under eyebrow, inner corner: Wet 'n Wild Lust, 4th color
d. Bare Minerals Diamond Body Powder in Bronze, outer 1/3 of upper and lower lash lines: Wet 'n Wild Newport Nights, middle color
e. Mascara
f. Bronze Shimmer Highlight, on cheeks and sides of eyes: Wet 'n Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection in Rose Golden Goddess
g. Bare Minerals Flawless Radiance highlighter, top of cheekbones
h. Stila Lip Pencil in Adorable, fill in lips: L'Oreal Infallible Never Fail Lip Liner in Coral
i. MAC Lip Gloss in Lady Gaga 2: Nyx Lip Gloss in Frosted Beige
j. Coral Blush (She didn't say what.): Sonia Kashuk Beautifying Blush in Sunset
My Thoughts: It's a lot of products on the cheeks, but in the end it looks pretty, so it all comes together.
3. Summer Makeup: How to Look GLOWING but not SHINY! by AModelRecommends http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fpbp4y8iFas
a. Tinted Moisturizer
b. Concealer
c. Lighting Powder, all over face: Wet 'n Wild Reserve Your Cabana
d. Bronzer, cheeks, sides of eyes, temples
e. Kiko Color Shock Long Lasting Eye Shadow in shade 4, eyelid: Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadows in Va Va Va Bloom, 1st shade
f. Mascara
g. Kiko Kiss Balm in Cherry: Revlon Lip Butter in Lollipop
My Thoughts: I was surprised, but Reserve Your Cabana was a little darker than my skin color! I should have used Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Powder in Translucent because that would give an all over glow without adding any color. If you have darker skin coloring than me, then Reserve Your Cabana might work. You just want to find a powder that matches your skin coloring that will give you a glow. The Va Va Va Bloom color is really pretty. This look is so easy.
4. Heatproof Make-Up Tips - Summer in the City Tutorial by Lisa Eldridge http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQr4iizyv0U
a. Mattifying Moisturizer, nose, chin, forehead
b. Foundation
c. Concealer
d. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Permanent Taupe: The US equivalent is Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe.
e. Khaki Color Eye Liner, upper lash line, lower lash line, waterline, blend with a q-tip top and bottom: Milani Liquid Eye in Green
f. Mascara
g. Cream Bronzer, under cheekbones, temples, hairline, neck, nose
h. Daniel Sandler Waterproof Blusher: NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Glow
i. Maybelline Super Stay 14 HR Lipstick in Stay With Me Coral, blot with a tissue: Wet 'n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in Pinkerbell
j. Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick 3D Super Color Volume Lip Shine in Fuchsia-ristic: Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Pink Pop
My Thoughts: I don't have a mattifying moisturizer, so I used Milk of Magnesia. That has been working well with oil control. I don't have a khaki eye liner, so I used green. I think the green looks pretty. I'm not sure I like that liner though because it is supposed to be retractable, but it isn't working and you can't sharpen it. It is brand new too. I didn't use a cream bronzer because my cream bronzers are either too dark or too gold. I just used my usual powder bronzer. She doesn't use a powder, but I need one to cut down on my shine. I like this look. I hope it lasts in this heat! Later...it did do a good job in the heat!
5. How To: Flawless Golden Glow by samanthaschuerman http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4_d1WJeTkQ

d. Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Blush in Rose
e. Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow & Liner Nude Collection in Warm Nudes, top color, under brow, inner corner
f. Same Palette, top two colors, top of cheekbones, nose, cupid's bow
g. Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trio Nude Collection in Warm Nude, Copper Liner, eyelid, blend it out with finger
h. Same Palette, 3rd one from bottom, eyelid
i. Same Palette, 5th one from bottom, crease
j. Same Palette, 4th color, inner 1/3 with a fluffy brush and into the crease, lower lash line, take finger and pop it in the center of lid
k. Same Palette, 2nd color, use finger and put it on top of the gold in the center of the lid
l. From the same Eyeliner Trio, Bronze Eyeliner, upper lash line, waterline
m. Same Palette, bottom shade, go over liner
n. Mascara
o. Physicians Formula pH Matchmaker pH Powered Lip Gloss in Pink
My Thoughts: I need more matte foundation in this summer heat, so I'm skipping on the BB cream, and I don't have a BB concealer or BB powder, so I'm just using what I normally use. This tutorial inspired me to go out and buy some of the products she used. I normally like to stick with what I have, and I feel guilty when I buy new things. I feel happy with these purchases. The blush is so beautiful. It has a pink high heal shoe on the front! And it smells like vanilla! The packaging is so cute. I love this blush! I got the eye shadow palette too. I have gotten Physicians Formula eye shadow palettes before, and I am really happy with them. The packaging on this is so cute, too. It has black lace and a peach bow. The colors are so beautiful and suit me very well. The highlight is really pretty. I used a fluffy eye shadow brush. I got the eyeliners she used, and I'm really happy with them. It comes with a copper, bronze, and a black. They are really great quality liners, and they come with built in sharpeners. The copper liner matches my hair color. I got the lip gloss also. It has cool packaging too. It has a mirror along the side, so you can use it when you put on the lip gloss. On the top it has a button you can push and turn on a light! So if it is dark it would help you see to put on the gloss. This lip gloss is so cool because it changes colors. It says to the right color for you on your lips. It's based on pH, I honestly don't understand how it works, but the color it turned on my lips was pretty. Sorry I wrote so much for this look! This is one of my favorite summer time looks. I think Samantha Schuerman is really talented, and she seems sweet too.
6. Tutorial: Summery Pinks and Greens by Grete Link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riRMbzCHPRc
a. NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, eyelid, under brow, tearduct, lower lash line
b. Wet 'n Wild Lust, 4th color, tearduct
c. Wet 'n Wild Petal Pusher, 1st color, tearduct
d. MAC Pigment in Cheers My Dear! wet brush, eyelid: Maybelline Eye Studio Color Explosion Amethyst Ablazed, left color
e. Bourjois Metallic Eyeliner in 55 Vert Pepite, lower lash line: Jesse's Girl Kohl Formula Eye Liner in Emerald City
f. Wet 'n Wild Greed, 2nd color, crease
g. Wet 'n Wild Lust, 4th color, browbone
h. Peggy Sage matte purple eyeshadow, outer part of eyelid and crease: Wet 'n Wild Lust, 2nd color
i. Wet 'n Wild Lust, 6th color, wet brush, upper lash line
j. Mascara
k. Foundation
l. Powder
m. Concealer
n. Bronzer, hollows of cheeks, temples, cheeks
o. Elf Glossy Gloss in Pink Candy: Bonnebell Lip Lites in Strawberry Parfait
My Thoughts: I put the eye makeup on first before my foundation routine, and I was a little scared at how I looked. But when you put on the mascara and the rest of your face makeup the eye makeup looks a lot better. I love Bonnebell lip glosses! They smell good, look good, and they're cheap! They feel really good on the lips. I don't talk a lot about Grete Link, but she does amazing tutorials. She doesn't have a lot of subscribers, but she is absolutely gorgeous and talented. I love her. I like how she uses Wet 'n Wild products. She is from Estonia, so sometimes she uses products that aren't available here (at least where I live), but you can still dupe them.
7. Get Ready with Me & OOTD: California Casual by cosmetic couturier http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eQ0jFskyLw
a. Eye Primer
b. Foundation, and on the eyelids
c. Concealer
d. Stila All Over Shimmer in Kitten Shimmer, cheekbones, above eyebrows, browbone: The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer
e. Bronzer, hollows of cheeks, temples, hair line
f. Too Faced Sweet Pea Cheek and Lip Cream: Nyx Rouge Cream Blush in Natural
g. Powder
h. Lush Breath of Fresh Air Toner: Urban Decay All Nighter Spray
i. Nude Liner in waterline
j. Illamasqua Blush in Tweak: Sonia Kashuk Beautifying Blush in Flushed
k. Wet 'n Wild Fergie To Reflect Shimmer Palette in Rose Champagne Glow, top of cheekbones
l. Black Liquid Liner, upper lash line, wing
m. Mascara
n. Gabriel Lipstick in Sheer Pink: Wet 'n Wild Megashield Lip Color SPF 15 in It's A Girl
My Thoughts: Be careful with Flushed blush. I put too much on by accident. I would use a stippling brush if I could put it on again. There isn't any eye shadow in this look, so it is important to put foundation on the lids and do a black liner. It makes your eyes stand out without having eye shadow on. The lipstick It's A Girl is really pretty and is a great summertime color. This look is mainly about face products. I love it.
8. 2 in 1 Summer Makeup & Hair Tutorial by xteeener http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GY2CJOKJ2yY
a. Foundation
b. Concealer
c. Powder
d. Eye Primer
e. Sigma Down Play Eye Liner, eyelid, 2/3 of outer lower lash line: Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trio in Warm Nude Eyes, copper eye liner
f. Sigma Drift Eye Liner, inner 1/3 of lower lash line, inner part of lid: Elf Eye Liner in Gold
g. Sigma Balance Eye Liner, outer v area, outer 1/3 of lower lash line, inner waterline: Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Brown
h. Elf Get the Look Beach Beauty 28 Piece Day Palette, 2nd color, inner 1/3 of lower lash line and inner corner of lid
i. Same Palette, 2 colors below 2nd color, center of eyelid
j. Same Palette, top bronzer, crease
k. Black Eye Liner, upper lash line, faintly smudge black 1/2 way outer lower lash line
l. Mascara
m. Same Palette, top bronzer, cheeks, jaw, hair line, sides of nose
n. Same Palette, peach blush
o. Same Palette, 2nd color below brow bone, top of cheekbones, sides of eyes, down the nose, cupid's bow
p. Concealer over lips
q. Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Rosy Nude
My Thoughts: The brown liner in the outer v looks weird on me. I don't think I did it right, so I'm rewatching the video. I'm not sure why it looks good on her, but weird on me. I'm going to have to remove it. It doesn't look bad on the lower lash line. Now I'm going to reapply the eyelid color. I think it is because her brown liner was lighter than mine. The top bronzer is a good shade for me. I'm surprised because usually bronzers are too dark for me, but this is a good shade. It isn't orange. It looks like a natural tan. The blush is really pretty. I really love the lipstick. I like how I had a lot of the same products she used. The look is pretty, especially for a warm toned person.
I hope you enjoy these makeup looks. What makeup have you been wearing this summer? Leave a comment below!
