I Heart Drugstore Makeup Tag

I just saw this tag today. It was created by makeupbyfran and MakeupByAlli on Youtube. Here are there videos if you want to see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4nY-mIJBJg&feature=plcp and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RASok6aHpx4. I really liked this tag because I get most of my makeup from the drugstore. I hope other people will do this tag.

1. Favorite Drugstore Brand in General? It's hard for me to pick just one. If I had to choose I would pick Wet 'n Wild.

2. Favorite Face/Cheek/Lip Product?

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer in Brightener, Milani Luminoso Blush, and Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Rosy Nude 065.

3. Least Favorite Drugstore Product?

Elf Little Black Beauty Book Warm Collection: The shadows are chalky and the lipsticks aren't pigmented. I never use this.

4. Best Drugstore Bargain?

Wet 'n Wild 8-Pan Eyeshadow palettes: These are great eyeshadows and it is only $4.99.

5. Favorite Underdog Product?

Elf Zit Zapper: I haven't heard anyone talk about this, but it works really well. I use this on a pimple and it dries up right away.

6. Overpriced Drugstore Product?

Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush: This is about $11 compared to a Covergirl which is $3.75, Wet 'n Wild is $2.99 and Elf is $3.

7. Best Drugstore Dupe?

Wet 'n Wild Eye Shadow Palette in Vanity has so many dupes.
1st Shade: Mac Orb, Mac Brule, Mac Bisque, Urban Decay Foxy
2nd Shade: Mac Wedge, Mac Soba, Mac Omega, Mac Kid, Mac Folio, Mac Cork, Urban Decay Naked
3rd Shade: Mac Embark, Mac Brun, Urban Decay Buck
4th Shade: Mac Rice Paper, Mac Nylon, Mac Gold Dusk Pigment, Mac Creme Royal
5th Shade: Mac Gorgeous Gold, Mac Goldmine, Mac Flip
6th Shade: Mac Bronze, Urban Decay Toasted, Urban Decay Smog

8. Product that isn't worth the hype?

EOS Lip Balms are adorable, but they aren't the best chapsticks.

  2. I wanted to try out the Milani Baked blush. I never had a baked blush before. I'm tempted to now and I totally agree with you about Physician's Formula. They have some good finds but overall they are very pricey for a drugstore brand :/
