May Favorites
1. Covergirl Natureluxe Liquid Silk Foundation in Alabaster: This month has been pretty sunny and hot. I've found that my foundation was looking a little cakey. This foundation reminds me of a tinted moisturizer. It is very light coverage, but I like the way it applies and I don't feel like I have a ton of makeup on. It smells nice too.
2. Jordana Glitters Nail Polish in Fairy Dust: This is an inexpensive nail polish I found at K-Mart. It has beautiful glitters of red, blue, green, purple, pink, and yellow. The background is a light pink. It is a really pretty color, that glistens in the sun. I've had in on my toes for a long time now. It has stayed put very nicely.
3. Fresh Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15: I got this from my May Birchbox. I love this stuff! It is perfect to wear on a hot day where you just want a tint on your lips and it has sun protection. I'm going to bring this with me when I go to the beach. It is also moisturizing.
4. ORLY Nail Lacquer in Rage: I heard that this was a dupe for some high end nail polish that a Youtube beauty guru was talking about. She was doing a nail tutorial with it and mentioned ORLY was a similar color. This is a rose gold metallic color. It is so pretty. I feel like it's jewelry for your nails.
5. Maybelline Express Finish 50 Second Nail Color in Carnation Craze: I think I found this in one of the Spring collection stands. I'm not sure if it is limited edition or not. This is a delicate peach color that looked really elegant on the hands. It's a nice Springtime color.
6. Nicole by OPI in Love Your Life: I wore this over Carnation Craze. It is a pink glitter with pink hearts. It's very cute. I saw someone write a blog about this where they layered it over a mint color and then they put on a mattifying nail polish, which looked pretty cool. I'm going to try that next when I do my nails.
7. Essie Nail Polish in To Buy or Not To Buy: The picture doesn't show the color very well, but it is a pastel purple. I like this color for the Springtime.
8. Mac Studio Careblend Pressed in Medium Deep: I have been trying to find a good color to contour with that doesn't look fake on me. I went to a Mac counter to get matched for one and the the lady recommended this for me. I think it looks really natural. It has no shimmers in it.
9. Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in No.4 Black Cocoa: I mentioned in another post I did that I wanted eye liners that went on smoothly. These are very good. I also like the color.
10. Banana Boat Sport Performance Active Dry Protect SPF 50: When the sun comes out, thats when I wear my sunblock. It's sort of annoying to have to apply it, but I don't want to get a sunburn. I like this because it protects against UVB and UVA rays. It is non greasy and sweat resistant.
11. Epielle Green Tea Cleansing Tissues: I use these whenever I need to take my makeup off quickly and conveniently at my makeup table. It may be just a mistake when I put on my makeup, so I don't want to watch my face completely off. I heard these mentioned in a Youtuber I subscribe to's favorites of the month. I got these at Big Lots for a low cost. They come in other kinds like aloe vera and citrus. I like the green tea ones. I haven't tried any of the others.
12. Nioxin Volumizing Reflectives Bliss Thermal Protector: I use this before I blow dry my hair. It is good for people with fine hair.
So those are my favorites for this month. I have a lot of nail polish favorites again. I've just been doing my nails a lot these last few months. What are your favorite products?

May Glam Bag
Today I got my Glam Bag. I was feeling like I didn't really like it anymore so I unsubscribed, but I payed for a year so I will still be getting the bags in the mail every month. I figured I would still blog about what I get in case anyone is interested. Even though I unsubscribed I still love getting a package in the mail.
Inside the package was a really cute makeup bag and a card detailing what I had received. This month's theme is "Love is in the air."
Miss Beauty Nail Bling: "Nail art that will make you fall head over heals in an instant." It reminds me of the Sally Hansen nail polish stickers you can get. It looks kind of cute. I might try it.
Philosophy Love Sweet Love Spray Fragrance: "Feel smitten and irresistibly pretty with this flirty, fruity fragrance." I'm happy to get this. I love Philosophy scents. It smells really good.
Studio Gear Complete Color Lipstick in Mocha Berry: "Rich color that plumps and hydrates for perfectly kissable lips." It is a plum type of a color. It might look good on me. I'm not really sure about it yet.
Myglam Concealer Brush & Defining Eyeliner Brush: "Two final signature pink brushes to complete your myglam collection." I like these brushes. Even though I don't really need any more brushes, these seem like ones I would use. They are very small brush tips.

I love the Spring time with all the flowers in bloom. I feel like this blog wouldn't be complete without including photos of the flowers in my yard. I took a bunch of photos and will include the names of as many as I can. If a name is not included that means I don't know the name of it. If you know would you please leave a comment? Thank you!

Office Look #5: Panacea81 Friday
This is the final office look of Panacea81: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjYfcz26diA I think this is pretty and natural. All of her looks for the office have turned out to be really wearable, easy, pretty, and natural looking. My face doesn't look like a mask at all.
1. Foundation
2. Bobbi Brown Stonewash palette in Nevajo from lashes to brow: I used Wet 'n Wild Palette in Vanity, top left color
3. Nars Duo Eye Shadow in Brumes, the dark brown color, half way across lash line wing it: I didn't have this eye shadow so I mixed a matte gray with a matte brown, L'Oreal Infallible 24 HR Eyeshadow in Sultry Smoke and Wet 'n Wild I Heart Matte Palette, the brown color.
4. Same color with a pencil brush on lower lash line
5. Black Eye Liner on waterline: I used a dark brown color instead.
6. Illamasqua Blush in Tremble: I used Maybelline Blush in Pinch O Pink.
7. Max Factor in Bewitching Coral Lipstick: I used Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Coral Reef
My Thoughts: I didn't do a wing because I just don't like the way a winged liner looks on me. Maybe I'm not doing it right for my eye shape.

Office Look #4: Panacea81 Thursday
Happy Mother's Day! Even though it's Sunday, I'm trying out my next office look. I really like this look. I think this one is my favorite so far. It's very easy and pretty. I got it from this tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIgn19qO8Ec
1. Face Primer
2. Foundation
3. Eye Primer
4. Bare Minerals Cashmere: I used Mac Quarry.
5. L'Oreal HIP Duo in Energized, left side under brow bone: I feel like this color is too dark to wear under my brows, so I chose to wear Wet 'n Wild 8-Pan Palette in Comfort Zone, top left color.
6. Brown Liner on upper lash line with a tiny wing and lower lash line: I skipped the wing because I feel like the wings I do don't look good on me. Maybe if I had professional do it, they would know how to do it the best way for my eye shape.
7. Models Own Blush in pb003 into the temples: I used Milani's Baked Blush in Dolce Pink.
8. Mascara
9. Mac Mehr Lipstick: I used Bare Essentials Buxom Lip Gloss in Dolly

Office Look #3: Panacea81 Wednesday
This look was a little "crazy" for me. It involves purple liner wings and frosty pink lips. I'm not sure I like it. You can be the judge. In the mirror I thought it was a little cool toned for me, but in the photos it doesn't look that bad. This is where I found the tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B14kH1cWl1c
1. Foundation
2. Eye Primer
3. Stila Eyeshadow in Cloud on lid: I used Wet 'n Wild Palette in Sand Castle, the upper left corner shade.
4. Collection 2000 Glam Crystals Glitter Liner on the upper lash line: I used Jesse's Girl Kohl Eye Liner in Bourbon Street.
5. L'Oreal Glam Bronze Duo in Blonde outer corners of face: I used what I normally use to contour.
6. Mascara Primer
7. Mascara
8. Maybelline Dream Matte Blush No.7 on cheekbones: I used Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Peach Satin
9. Natural Collection by Boots a light pink lipstick: I used Wet 'n Wild Mega Shield Lip Stick in Pink Champagne.
10. Rimmel Lip Gloss in 130 Take A Chance: I used Urban Decay Lip Junkie in Midnight Cowboy

Office Look #2: Panacea81 Tuesday
Hi! So this is my look I'm wearing today. I really like it. It is very simple to do and it looks natural. I copied it from Panacea81's Tuesday Office Look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCXl_P6rwLk
1. Foundation
2. Eye Primer
3. Bare Minerals Eye Shadow in Celeste on lid, blend it upward: I used L'Oreal HIP Studio Secrets Professional Metallic Shadow in Electrified, the left side
4. Benefit Eye Bright in the waterline: I used Pixi Eye Bright Liner in Nude
5. Mascara Primer
6. Mascara
7. Nars Copacabana on the cheekbones: I used Physicians Formula Powder Palette Mineral GLow Pearls in Translucent Pearl
8. L'Oreal Glam Bronze Duo Pink side on cheeks: I used Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush in Natural
9. L'Oreal Glam Shine Lip Gloss (She didn't know the color name. It was a pinky, pearly, peach color.) I used Revlon Colorburst in Peony
You can't see my eyes very well, but you can see how my cheeks have a nice natural blush to them and the lips have a pretty color.
You can better see the eyeshadow in this picture. It's just a sparkly taupe color.
My lips look so sad here. xD This is my serious face. Anyway, I think you can better see the lip gloss in this picture. It's just a really pretty, natural pinky/peach color. This is my favorite lip gloss I have.
I hope you like this look. Tell me what you wear to work.

Office Look #1: Panacea81 Monday
Panacea81 is another makeup guru that I love. She is from England, and has a really cute accent. She did a series of looks to wear for work. I got inspired and I'm duping her looks using my own cheap makeup. Most of it is inexpensive anyway. I also wanted to try other looks for work I found and liked on YouTube. I hope you like this series! The first look is Panacea81's Monday office look. She did a look for Monday through Friday. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJelsT0rgAQ I will list what she used and then my dupe. If specifics aren't mentioned it's because I didn't take note of them. Just use what you would normally use, that's what I did.
1. She did concealer, powder, and then foundation. I did foundation, concealer, and then powder. I don't understand why she did it in the order she did it.
2. Eye Primer
3. Mac Vanilla Pigment on the lid: I used Wet 'n Wild Palette in Lust, top right color.
4. L'Oreal HIP in Charged on lower lash line: I used Wet 'n Wild Palette in Vanity, bottom, right color.
5. Black pencil on top lash line: I used a dark brown liner because I think black is too harsh on me.
6. Mascara
7. Mac Harmony contour the hollows of the cheeks and on the cheeks and temples: I used what I use to bronze. You can use whatever you normally would use. I use Mac Studio Careblend Pressed in Medium Deep. I got matched for a good contour shade at a Mac counter. The girl was really helpful and she used a powder rather than a bronzer because it was matte and she said it would work best with my ultra light skin.
8. Lumiere Cosmetics Bare Skin Radiance Powder on the forehead, temples, nose, chin, and cheeks: I used Physicians Formula Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls in Translucent Pearls.
9. Maybelline lipgloss a pale biscuit colour with ivory and gold shimmer, She didn't know the name: I used Urban Decay Lip Junkie in Midnight Cowboy. Earlier in the morning I used my new Birchbox lip tint called fresh Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15, so I think that's why my lips look so rosy in the picture. It isn't from the lip gloss. The lip gloss is more of a sheer nude sparkly color.
My Thoughts: It's really easy. It looks natural and pretty. I found it weird how she put bronzer on her cheeks and temples and put the highlighter there too, but it ends up looking good.
As you can see the look is super natural. I think it looks pretty though. I don't look like I have a mask of makeup on. You can kind of see the dark brown color on my lower lash line. My lid color is nude. What do you think? What do you wear to work? I work at a school, so this look seems appropriate. I'm going to be at recess today and it will be hot, sunny weather. I think this will be good. I'm bringing my contour and lip gloss to touch up during the day.

May Birchbox
My Birchbox arrived today! The theme of it appears to be Gossip Girl. I've never watched the TV show, but I think it's popular with teenagers and/or preteens. Sometimes I've heard people talk about the fashion/beauty of the actresses on the show.
1. The cover had the Gossip Girl logo wrapped around it.
2. When I opened it up I found the card on the top that explains what this box is about and what is inside it. I didn't read it because I like to be surprised. This is what the card says if you are interested: "Hi there, Of all out guilty pleasures, our weekly 'Gossip Girl' date ranks pretty high. As proud New Yorkers, we love seeing our favorite spots on screen - plus we're addicted to the plot intrigues and killer fashion and beauty looks. Just in time for the season finale Monday, May 14, at 8/7c on The CW, we've teamed up with 'Gossip Girl' to bring you samples inspired by the series and Manhattan's chicest events. This collection has exactly what an uptown girl needs for summer. It's time to break out the bright prints and chic sandals and head to - where else? - the Hamptons. Beach parties call for a fresh, natural look: think foundation-free skin and glossy lips. And don't forget - a good guest always follows up with a thank you note. Go online for a behind-the-scenes peek at the prettiest looks on 'Gossip Girl', an exclusive interview with executive producer Stephanie Savage, and much more."
3. I opened up the yellow tissue paper and this is what it looked like.
4. Miracle Skin Transformer Body SPF 20 in Glow: Don't settle for anything but flawless skin - all over your body. This tinted treatment erases blemishes and scars on arms, legs, and decollete. It looks like it has a tint to it.
5. Kiehl's Abyssine Cream: A longtime bestseller, this anti-aging moisturizer uses microscopic Abyssine molecules to soften wrinkles and protect skin from free radical damage. I don't know what Abyssine molecules are, but I guess it sounds good.
6. Notecards: Text messages are no match for handwritten notes on fun, modern stationery. I didn't know this was stationary. I thought this went with the sweepstakes card. You have a chance to win $500 Birchbox shopping spree. You have to tune in and watch the finale episode of Gossip Girl and answer the questions on the back of the card.
7. BVLGARI Omnia Crystalline Eau de Toilette Spray: Inspired by luminescent crystals (so glam), this elegant scent combines notes of lotus flowers, bamboo, and Nashi pear. It smells really nice to me.
8. fresh Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15: This cult favorite has a subtle rosy hue, plus natural sugar extracts to exfoliate and smooth lips. I'm really glad to get this! I've heard of this before. It feels good on the lips.

Toe Nails of the Day: Fairy Dust
I painted my toe nails this morning before going to work. It's supposed to be hot for 10 days in a row! I thought I'd pamper my toes since they would be in public these next few days. I chose to wear Jordana Glitters Nail Polish in Fairy Dust. I haven't worn it before. It is so pretty! I only used one coat. I thought I'd share it with you guys. I found this at K-Mart and it is inexpensive. I love it.
I like wearing sparkly nail polish when it is sunny especially because then it catches the sunlight and glitters. What nail polish are you wearing these days?
