Advent Blog: Childhood, Lucky Charm, and Baby Santa

I wanted a picture of myself as a child. I don't know how old I was in this picture. I was with my parents fishing. I think my mom took the picture. I would go fishing with my dad I remember. I would go hiking and my dad would fish.

Christmas Quote

"I know what I really want for Christmas. I want my childhood back. Nobody is going to give me that. I might give at least the memory of it to myself if I try. I know it doesn't make sense, but since when is Christmas about sense, anyway? It is about a child, of long ago and far away, and it is about the child of now. In you and me. Waiting behind the door of our hearts for something wonderful to happen. A child who is impractical, unrealistic, simpleminded and terribly vulnerable to joy." ~Robert Fulghum, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten

Extra Quote

"All children, except one, grow up. They soon know that they will grow up, and the way Wendy knew was this. One day when she was two years old she was playing in a garden, and she plucked another flower and ran with it to her mother. I suppose she must have looked rather delightful, for Mrs. Darling put her hand to her heart and cried, 'Oh, why can't you remain like this for ever!' This was all that passed between them on the subject, but henceforth Wendy knew that she must grow up. You always know after you are two. Two is the beginning of the end." ~J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

Day 13: Horseshoe Charm Bracelet

This is cute. I don't really like to wear jewelry. I will wear it today. Today is Friday the 13, so maybe it will bring good luck. I didn't like the barrette that I got in the calendar, because I couldn't get it into my hair! It's probably my own fault for not knowing how, and I shouldn't blame the barrette. Maybe I can give this to one of my little cousins. Maybe they will get more use out of it. I know I'm weird when it comes to jewelry. I don't like the way it feels against my skin. It is always wrapping, and I feel constricted. xD

Lush's Secret Santa Part 2

This is the Santa that was found in the house yesterday. It doesn't really look like Santa, but use your imagination. It is another bath bomb, so I saved it for today. It probably has the same scents and ingredients as the house, but I'm guessing this will turn the bath water pink and not orange. It is supposed to smell like a Lush shop. I've never been in one. I have seen them on Youtube, and I think I would be overwhelmed by everything. I would rather shop online. The store looks very cluttered, and there are so many smells. Sales people go around and sell you things. I don't really like that, but I heard their sales people are nice.

Review: It is just like the rest of Santa's Secret, except the bath water turned pink.

  1. Oh your hair.
    So pretty.
The bracelet is cute, yes, and I would use it if it wasn't pink XD

  2. I had long red hair that I always wore in two braids. My hair was more red then. Maybe I should color my hair like it was when I was little. My hair is way darker now. That bracelet is a piece of crap. It is like a rubber band.
