Advent Blog: The Grinch and Benefit's Coralista

I'm so excited today is my first day of my Advent Blog series! I have planned a lot of fun things for each day. I hope you enjoy it, as much as I enjoy making it. I plan on having a picture, a quote(s), a song, and a link to the song so you can hear it. I also bought myself the Benefit Countdown to Love Advent Calendar, so I'm going to review each thing I get for each day. Some of these things I might have tried to dupe in the past, so we will see if my dupes were accurate or how close were they. I got a lot of Lush bath products for the holiday season, so when they arrive I will do reviews about each thing I got there too. I haven't received the package yet because I bought everything online on Black Friday.

Christmas Quote

"It came without ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes or bags!"...Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before! "Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas... perhaps... means a little bit more!" ~Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Benefit Countdown to Love Advent Calendar

Day 1: Coralista Blush!

I knew I was going to have this for this first day because I saw someone's video about the calendar. When I saw that the first day was a sample size of this blush, I wanted to buy the whole calendar because I knew it would be something I would love. It smells like orange candy! I'm wearing the blush today, and it is so beautiful! It looks really good on redheads. This is so fun to have an advent calendar! I feel like I did when I was little at Christmas time and I would have a picture advent calendar to open for each day.

These are the dupes I have, that I have heard are dupes for the Coralista blush. In the pan they look similar. To the left is The Balm Hot Mama, below is Wet 'n Wild Mineral Blush in Barely Peach, and to the right is Elf Contouring Blush and Bronzer in St. Lucia.

On my hand you can see that the colors are not all the same. They are all in the orange/peach/coral family. From left to right: The Balm Hot Mama, Benefit Coralista, Elf St. Lucia, and Wet 'n Wild Barely Peach. None of my dupes look like Coralista. Coralista is lighter, more shiny, and more orange. It looks like a pastel orange to me. I think the two colors on the ends are dupes of each other. The Balm Hot Mama and Wet 'n Wild Mineral Blush in Barely Peach are dupes. That is cool because Wet 'n Wild is a fraction of the cost of The Balm Hot Mama!

I hope you enjoy the first day of advent! Be safe and remember what the Grinch said, "Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas means a little bit more!"
